Van Horn has been playing great recently and seems to be getting along okay with Marbury. Should the Knicks still try to trade him or not? Why?

I think there has been enough change on the team and Keith has contributed. I know there's a good chance he will disappoint again though....

Thanks for checkin that madness before I had to get around to it, Elite...

I don't dig KVH either, and see his play of late as a good way to increase his trade value. He's too much of a liability on defense. As long as he's here (which may not be that long), I will hope he does well so we get more back for him.

I want a solid low-post player in here if Zeke can make the deal. If KVH is playing up to par, we can trade him for that player. If that player is cool, that's even better.

Now if we can get that kind of player anyway, still keep KVH and he all of a sudden becomes consistent, Lenny teaches him (and Allan) some workable defense, then I would assume that everyone would be happy with KVH being here this year.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I would trade anyone if it makes the team better. IF Van Horn contines to play with this type of aggressiveness, and consistently takes the ball to the hole, I would rather keep him and trade Thomas.

Before one of the KVH fan club posts this, I figured I'd steal the thunder...

"He's way more aggressive," Marbury said. "He's always in attack mode."

Yeah... Well we are now officially on a stretch run for the playoffs. Let's see how long he can keep this up.

However, if we can get a good deal for him now that he's playing better... The options would still have to be weighed... Heavily.

KVH is a great player when he's healthy--- unfortunately, he very often gets banged up, causing his numbers to fluctuate.

Forget about Lampe, we already have our poor man's Nowitzki. (Perhaps Nowitzki should be the rich man's KVH!) So far he's done very well paired with Marbury. He moves w/o the ball near the paint as well as Camby did and is a very good finisher.

The odd thing is that KVH is practically a veteran Knick with all of the roster moves.

Kvh has shown with proper ball movement that he is turning into a complete player. Zeke claimed that he loved KVH in college and would have drafted him as a junior. I doubt he would trade him now, the guy that is overmatched against his top peers is Kurt Thomas.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

i said yes to this, but i would only do this for a guy with superior talent. a guy like rashard lewis, ronnie ron, dirk diggler.
FRANK WILLIAMS should be an allstar. The BEST knick this season!

i would trade KVH for Diggler and Ron "POP" Artest.

Rashard Lewis? NO WAY - guy is soft. Disappears. and KVH CRUSHED RASHARD'S GUTS last night.

hey, do you remember the 50point game. neway, reshard is a very athletic guy whom we have been begging for, and he is an up-and-coming low post scorer. this guy could take over and game and he's plays much better defense than kieth.
btw. last night, kieth was hot from 3 point land, and he got a lot of good passes from steph, so imagine that with reshard and combine it with pure athletic ability and defense. something kieth lacks when playing guys like artest, bowen, mcgrady.
FRANK WILLIAMS should be an allstar. The BEST knick this season!

I say keep him. Keith has shown that he fits well here. Like I've said b4, I think he's taken his game to a new lvl for newyork and will continue to do better.

It is interesting to see how both Van Horn and Marbury have matured since playing in NJ. They are both an important part of NY's resurgance. I hope NY keeps KVH and I hope KVH doesn't disappoint the fans as he has in the past. I'd like to see him hit a few clutch shots near the end of close games before I praise him too much.

i think he has the confidence to hit those shots. he's been really effective behind the arc lately. and with marbury's penetration, he should get plenty of good looks. i'd like a warrior down low. is oakley in playing shape?nahh we need someone who can jump.

I would trade him if we can get someone awesome, but for just another average SF I wouldnt let him go. He seems to have enthusiasm for playing in NY and with the addition of Marbury they have been lighting it up. The real problem with this team is - and has been for quite some time - the 4 and 5 positions. If we can unload KVH and a combination of players to get an impact player at the 4 or 5 then this team will be solid. If that isnt possible then keep Van Horn.

Unless we are getting back an allstart PF there are just no good deals for us. Unless you trade him for Tmac or Kobe ofcourse lol. And Rashweed is not it at this point, the way Horn has elevated his game recently he is better then Wallace. Plus with the team seeminly develoing chemistry (somethign they havent had before) tradin for a guy that is so hard to include in any kind of chemistry such as Wallace is a tough sell to me. Don't get me wrong, a month ago I would have made that deal in a second, just not now.
And stop hatin on Horn just cause he is "goofie", he doesn not look neally as girly with the faical hair lol.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

we need his size and he uses it well. No way we trade him unless its for a better big. Some guys I WOULDNT trade him straight up for:
Raweed
Jamison
Anyone small
