Curry is not getting released, at least not until after the trade deadline. Up until then he is a trade asset. A big fat one.

CrushAlot, I don't buy it. We have so many big men now, are we are going to trade Chandler and Curry for a good shooting big man? Makes no sense, we want that cap space for a max player, not a shooting big man.
Why do we need to move Curry? If me move him then we are going to need to give up assets to move him as well as assets to take on Melo. Unless Denver takes Chandler and Gallo and Curry for Melo, but then that thins us and we have to depend on AR and the guy we got from Boston. I'm not sure we are ready for that?
