Our team looks like a 6-7 seed on paper, but we also have to remember with all the moves being made, Cavs are nothing without LeFag, boston is still old (they did sign J o'neal but hes injury prone.) milwaukee is decent.
I think it'll look like this, feel free to disagree, although the 7-8 seed can vary with trnto, milw
1.orlando
2.Chigago
3.Miami
4.Atlanta
5.Boston
6.Knicks
7.Charlotte
8.toronto

Yes.

Right now I'd say:

1) Miami (because they are able to keep their MLE and Haslem and stuff with the S&Ts)
2) Orlando
3) Boston
4) Chicago
5) Atlanta
6) New York
7) Milwaukee
8) Washington/Philly/Charlotte/maybe Toronto duke it out

You (the OP)don't think that Milwaukee is going to be in the mix?

I see us as as a team which will start off somewhat slow, but gather a lot of steam by the end of the year when players' roles are understood and accepted.

By the end of the year I think we can be a real pain in the ass for the upper echelon teams.

Of course we all dream of finishing strong and upsetting a certain Florida team in the first round.

Washington without butler, miller or jamison, LOOKS VERY BAD coming into the season. Maybe Toronto is led by HEDO. I would put my money on charlotte

Milwaukee is good but charlotte is better. And now with AMARE, Bogut is not gonna kill us, the way he used to manhandle LEE. But who knows

Washington has Wall, Hinrich, Javale McGee, Andray Blatche and Josh Howard. I see them surprising a few people. They are going to be solid.

Wall is now playing with the big boys, this aint college. Howard is a FREE AGENT.
MCgee avg 6.4 ppg
Miller, butler, jamison were big contributors and they are no longer there.
Hinrich is not the answer

I don't really get it when people on this board and others rate the Bulls so high. They basically have one really good player (Rose) and a bunch of average Joes on the team. Noah really does not impress me. Not when you compare him to Stoudemire or even Randolph. Boozer is an ok pickup but his defense is nothing special.

I think we'll eventually end up around 5 or 6.

I think Orlando might still get #1 and idk what boston team to expect exactly. Philly might knock charlotte out.

Philly is ok, but whos replacing dalembert?
As far as why ppl speak highly of chicago? noah is decent, boozer is effective with a good pg (hence will do good with rose). Deng is a problem, korver can shoot, redick can shoot. And they said they are not done in FA. The team looks good and has potential.

What's the status on Bogut? His injury was pretty bad, will be ever be 100%?

As impressive as Milwaukee was, I don't see them having the type of season they did last year.

If all goes right, the Knicks will get an 8 seed and be destroyed by Miami, Orlando, or Boston in the playoffs. The upside is Dolan will get some playoff revenue.

If all goes about average with some good luck and some bad luck the Rockets get a low lottery pick.

If the Knicks have any significant bad luck, for example if Stoudemire gets injured, the Rockets get a really good pick.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

As bad as things seemed last yr, if we had even just solid PG play from the start we couldve gotten to .500. I think what makes this team a solid playoff team is having Amare n Felt. The unknown is just what we'll get from Gallo, AR n Chan on a nightly basis. Elevated play from them could push us up to a 5 seed!
