Funny,

Lebron never been arrested, never done anything stupid legally.

Never been quoted a racist remark.

Does not have paternity suites, been caught cheeting, arrested or accused for rape, DUI or drugs. He or his group has not been accused of shooting, beating or stabbing anyone. His dogs don't fight. His dogs does not eat or eat childrens ears. No Steroid talk. He comes to training camp on time. Does not crash motorcycles or have mishaps on a docked boat. Does not break bones in fights. Does not shoot his limo driver or bring guns to work.

Does not cheat on his taxes, over speand, he pays his bills. Takes care of things. He is charitable.

He leaves a team to play for less money. We all complain that "all these guys do is care about money, not winning"! Who leaves for less money?

when a guy says he leaves for winning, its "he does not care about us, his fans!!!"

This is new. Players catch all kinds of hell from fans when they don't "WIN", but this is different.

When your the King you can say what you want, do what you want and get away with it.

"Its good to be King" so proclaimed Mel Brooks!

Maybe Lebron has grown up a bit and does not want to be the king anymore. Now he wants to be part of a democracy. One by which he wants public aproval and the only real way to be substantial is to have the cred of being a champion.

He is called "Coward" by those he scorned. Thats a natural reaction by many. Rejection is a hard thing to digest. Naturally we have to blame someone. Cleveland blames lebron, NY blames Walsh and Lebrons lack of "Courage" (Say it like the Wizard of Oz lion!) Chicago blames Dwade for playing them but is ok. Jersey don't care cuz its not brooklyn, News papers will call Lebron names to sell more papers. Gilbert will deflect to save his ass.

But in the end its just a 25 year old star that fans let itself think he was part of the public domain.

Lebron is not Michael.

The King wants to be the president or prime minister. He could have handled it better no doubt. He is not the only one. Lots of "Blame" to be shared.

The crown ain't for everyone!

You make some good points. I think a lot of the wrath he is facing is because of his hour long special. I don't think you do that if you are not staying in Cleveland.

You have 666 posts. Thats scary.
LEts see what others think of it.

Don't have to agree with it, but there is a point.

Ok, I'll help you......Kings have absolute power. In a democracy not one person has that power, its shared.

Some think thats better.

Maybe lebron has changed and thinks its better to win with good players around you that to be the "King" and eventually if you don't win they throw your ass out.

Michal was the king.

He is a coward. Only a fool would defend him.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Obviously a lot of people had placed a lot of expectations on him as "the next Jordan". He has now as much as admitted that he isn't in that class of player - not constitutionally anyway. He handled it very badly which magnified people's feelings.

If we hadn't got our hopes up about getting him, would we be so angry?

But enough about LeBron. He's a Miami Heat player. I'm interested in what the Knicks are going to do.

He is a 25 year old making mistakes in his life. What is to understand?

Word.

Remember RonRon's presser after winning the 'Chip? He said he felt like a coward for bailing on Tinsley, JO, on Donnie, Larry, Foster, SJax and the rest of the Pacers crew.

Lebron clearly wasn't watching.

Actually, it was very cogent and makes a lot of sense. Nalod is gently calling out those of us (myself included) crying over our rejection and trying to assign blame. But the truth is we really didn't know what made Lebron tick, what sort of fellow he was, and we obviously sized him up all wrong. That's not an indictment of Lebron. He made his choice based on his interests, regardless of what everyone else expected of him.

One politically correct nitpick about all this "vaginal" and "Queen" stuff. Women give birth to human beings. And from what I've seen, that's not some easy, weakling stuff to do. So this whole feminizing of LeBron to demean him doesn't do much for me except demean womanhood.

I know it might be hypocritical of me since I'm the one with 8 alba posts & you've stayed clear of it umynot... but just had to put that out there since I'm seeing it a lot, not trying to get at you specifically.

You're right. No woman would ever be so cowardly and spineless.

Nalod is right. He doesn't deserve the crap he is getting, although he did take the easy way out, and he deserves criticism for that.

And calling him Letoya is fun.
