I would sign Livingston. Reason why--best available and cheap to keep flexibility. I think we can eve throw Fields as a 4th PG

Randolph can't play center right now. He just can't.

We need a PG badly and possibly bring in a real SG and another PF/Center (Kurt Thomas?).

Two things about this coach:
1)Not tooo sure Chandler will be starting in front of Azubike. Az is a decent defender(you mike don't care about that) and AZ usually sits some where between 40% and 37% from the three point line. They both can't create a lick for their team mates, but Az hasa better handle than Chandler.

2)I love AR as a player you let roam, but lets be real, Mike don't give to ****s about that side of the ball. I hope he doesn't put AR in the doghouse right off the bat because he can't hit a three.

The knicks should play the kids and Amare, they should sign Livingston to a 2-4 million dollar 1 yr deal and they should be a very gritty team with a lot of size 1-4. AR should start at the 4 every night,unless Dwight is in town or a center you don't want to beat up on Amare in the paint. Then Turiaf should start. Wilson should start at the two, but I doubt that will happen.

If the knicks coach was Avery Johnson or Scott Skiles(?) or TT in Chicago, I would give this team a chance to be a real playoff team. But we know getting the most out of his players is not this coaches MO.

Exactly. We need one with good court vision who can find the open man. We're a bigger team now - and better defensively inside. That's a very good thing. Also, Azubuike helps us at the two. We've got plenty of forwards, so the next piece should be a point guard.

Yea, i agree with this team being an unfinished product. Still moves to be made.

I'd like Tony Parker next year. Carmelo don't sign that extension, we'll bring both of those guys on board next year and run the Heat out of the building.

I am really feeling positive about the Knicks right now, even though we did not really do it entirely from the draft, we have two young players from the 08 draft to root for (Gallo, AR), plus we have TD, Jordan, and two other rooks from this years draft. We also have enough cap flexibility to bring in some other players as well. If we can get Livingston here, we would have a nice young team on our hands. Dam,I just noticed how young our team is.

No more Nate Rob, Harrington, no D Lee, Steph, Curry (almost gone) holding us back. It will be a different ballclub that will take some time to develop, but they will be fun to watch.

Hopefully- we'll have a nice mix of guys that are hungry, defensive oriented.

Key question is can MDA coach?

I think we'll have the definitive answer.
