Unless he gets traded to Orlando to play with Dwight there is no way he stays in Denver with no shot at winning a championship. He will look for star players to play with to combat Lebron, Wade, Bosh. The best place to come to would be NY who has Amare and cap space to sign him as well as someone else with Curry's contract expiring. Not only that but Knicks will have young guys like Randolph and Gallinari to play with as well as other guys with potential like Douglas, Walker, Chandler, Abazukie who will either develop or be packaged to improve the club.

Plus the fact that he is from NY and his wife is from and works in NY. Plus he already is a star in NY for winning the Championship for Cuse.

Tony Parker as well as many other player will also look to pair up with star players to try and combat the Heat and the Knicks and Nets as well will have the best shot at these guys, Paul will be another one. Knicks of course will have the edge in 2011 since Nets will still be in Newark at that time.

With Amare already on board as well as cap space and young talent we will be the top targets for these guys.

I didn't say we were better the NY as an organization or anything like that. If you read my thread which you probably didn't or you would understand what I was saying was that stars will now look to team up together to combat Wade-James-Bosh. Since we have Amare and Denver doesn't really have anyone on that calibre plus the fact that Melo is from NY. Melo will come to the Knicks to team up with Amare and probably try to lure Parker or someone else like Paul to form there own trio.

Guys like Randolph and Gallo with a good yr next yr can be attractive trade pieces as well if the star players demand that they want to come to the knicks to team up with Melo and Amare.

You know we can't contain ourselves. We are going to flood Nugget forums expressing reasons why their city sucks and how their star wants to be in NY. It's all good though because I probably be doing it myself as time get closer.
