Do you think that if we set the bar low i.e 13-15 minutes a night off the bench that he can handle those minutes and not get hurt? Now sitting here and saying eddy can play 35 is blasphemy but I think hoping to get 13-15 minutes of quality play where he is in shape and starts from training camp--that would give us a nice extra body

That would give us a front line of Curry Randolph Amare Turiaf Jordan(i think we will keep Garcia) and sometimes Gallo can spot 4--that would allow us to keep Amare down to Duncan like minutes 33-34 so we can keep him healthy. I think we have a TON of talent--now to get all guys healthy and keep them that way--too bad we didnt get Whiteside but I cant cry now

I'd be surprised to ever see Curry play more than five minutes of basketball ever again.

Even Jerome James plays well in a contract year... and dude has bills to pay. Hopefully he can at least give us 6 fouls a night, worst case scenario.

He has to be able to play. He is not a player without talent. Use this guy. He can do something. Maybe Amare will get him off his fat ass.

He would have to start from training camp and that seems to be his down fall.

if eddy shows up in shape for training camp and actually learns the system this time... maybe.

but i'm inclined to say bench him.

i think we have enough bigs without him.

amare, randolph, turiaf, jordan, gallo.

I don't think the Knicks need him and I am not sure that D'Antoni would play him if he was ready because of their past. I think even if he is ready, similar to Marbury, the team has moved on.

The last thing we need is *another* story coming out about how the Knicks treat their players poorly/unfairly and another mouth trashing them when Anthony is a free agent.

We should at least give him a fair shot... how can that hurt us?
