I think this guy would blossom here. He's a running PG, good pick and roll guy, good scorer, good defender. He's got some weight issues and sometimes holds the ball for too long...

But I think signed to a reasonable deal, he's a good pickup.

I'd maintain the flexibility to add Tony Parker in 2011... but we need somebody to lead a young team next season and Felton is a good bet.

I think his arms are too short. I'd make the move for Collison- I'll take back Peja's contract for this year.
You know I gonna spin wit it

What kind of contract is he gonna get? Who still has cap space? he will at least get the MLE. I've liked him but he hasnt developed the way I thought he would.

I'm not as high on Felton but I do think after the Lee trade the only piece we should be looking for is a PG. I would love it to be Kyle Lowry personally, I love that kid despite his shooting issues. Best option of course would be Tony Parker of course but I don't think the Spurs will deal on that.

If Collison is available, obviously you have to go there. I'm assuming he's not.

I think the Knicks should take a run at Livingston. I think he would come cheap and he might be willing to accept a short term contract.

Do NOT spend on Felton. This team isnt going ANYWHERE next year.

I'd try to sign Livingston for cheap considering his shaky knee. We need a playmaker to feed Randolph, Gallo, Chandler, and Amare.

wouldn't be a bad idea at all, he would def come cheap and if he's healthy (big question) he's a great fit to be the PG of this team.

Lowry is a guy who could take a huge step forward here. Toughness+Speed

i myself always loved lowry. the only knock on him in this offense would be his jumper - either he would have a sergio-like effect (aka none) or he would step up his game. he definitely has speed and toughness and he plays great man-man defense.

Do you think Felton will cost a lot? i'd offer him $6M in year one - just over the MLE. leaves us with $20M in cap space for next year.

We're not going anywhere with a frontline of Amare/Gallo/AR/Chandler? that's one of the best frontlines in the east.

it takes depth to win.

I think this maybe Tony Parker's job in a year. The Knicks can take a chance here and try someone out and hope they find a diamond in the rough. My vote is Livingston but I am open to other guys running the point.

Yeah, you are probably right. Do you think that Turiaf for Peja and Collison might tempt NO?

Love love love Lowry and I've been on the record on that one for a year now. My only worry about him would be the Sergio/Duhon syndrome where backups don't automatically morph into starter with more playing time, but I would back that signing to the hilt. Don't think he would be too pricy either.

Too much money cryz---I like Livingston for maybe 1/3 of his price with a Lowry(both guys togther will be 1/2 of what Felton gets)--we have Douglas Rautins--dont spend big $$$ UNLESS we get a Chris Paul Tony Parker type--we aheva lot of good players---this team is going to be good aheva great feeling about it. We did not lose tonight--we won

I am not always in agreement with Briggs but I am on this one...Let's get Livingston for cheap over short guard!

We need a playmaker and Felton is not that guy.

Shaun Livingston is a cheaper and better option.

Amare
Gallo
Randolph
Chandler

Felton can't hit the backside of a barn. (classic quote)

He's slow and a poor shooter. Not a good fit for this system. Sign Ridnour.

Ridnour isnt a playmaker though. He is a good shooter. We need a guy who can make plays for everyone else.
