-very happy with the happy amar'e signing
-lebron scenario is one of the more interesting things he's been apart of in his career
-thinks lebron situation was decently handled
-at this point no one knows if they're in it or out of it RIGHT NOW
-he feels lebron is very open to coming here
-walsh thinks NY is a no-brainer for lebron and he told him that

i agree with ny being a no brainer. we will see. i was part of sheradin's chat and he ranked ny's chances over 50 % compared to the other teams. so is the pendulum swinging back?

-walsh feels the same as he did a few days ago about lebron signing here
-donnie has spies everywhere and really feels no one knows what he's going to do tonight.
-donnie didn't say it, but it sounds like he believes lebron has not let one person know what he's doing yet
-walsh doesn't feel this whole thing was a waste because we now have amar'e and still have plenty of cap-room and plenty of things in the works to use the space.
-walsh believes that if lebron doesn't come here, knick fans will be happy anyway because theres still so many things we can do.

Sounds like spin to me, doesn't increase our chances - especially since the word on the street is Miami.

-walsh has no feeling in his gut on where bron is going tonight.
-walsh says things have changed every day on where he was going for 2 years and that he really doesn't know what will happen.
-theres a couple teams donnie would be surprised if lebron went to them
-donnie doesn't feel good or bad about tonight, just feels in limbo
-walsh feels they've done everything possible to get lebron to come here, in the time lebron gave to them and every other team.
-DW feels lebron gave everyone a fair playing field and equal time

He called JVG who knows as much as you and I. I never seen a guy who is more constantly shock at NBA news than JVG.

yes he is..if only checketts leaned towards ernie grunfeld instead of jvg in spring 1999 we would not be in this position..debusshere and grunfeld were the only 2 knick gms last 35 years that i wouldnt say after a knick move "they did what?"

Good interview with Donnie- I think he's always honest and straight up with us- he genuinely doesn't know whats going to happen. Whatever happens tonight my respect for him has really increased throughout this whole process.
