Brandon Tierney on the radio feeling guilty about ESPN's handling of the LeBron affair. I think he feels that ESPN has been a bit too involved in the entire process. Perhaps being used, perhaps being manipulative on its own.

He is also saying that he has seen an anti-NY sentiment, that the national media has taken shots at the Knicks and that Walsh, MDA, the Knicks, and their players have been dumped on.

He has been holding back saying it, until now, and feels that many have had an agenda against NYC and the Knicks.

ESPN is run by New England Sox loving douche bags.

During this process they have really been exposed, especially their "experts."

The good thing is nobody cares who plays pro sports. The Yankees own baseball. The Giants and Jets have superbowl caliber teams. The Knicks joke is a thing of the past.

I'm not sure what I will enjoy more... actually watching Lebron and Amare playing in motion in that uptempo offense or watching the sucking and blowing all the ESPN dickless jockeys are going to be doing after he signs.

Amare + Lebron > Bosh + Wade.

Wow man, that's very ballsy of Mr. Tierny. I hope he doesn't lose his job as a result of this. He gets my respect for that though.

with this management in place I am happy to have Dolan. We will never have to lose a FA because we wont surround them with expensive role players, or because our owner wont pay the luxury tax.

Dolan's problem is he doesnt know BB, and he has been loyal to people who suck. Layden and Isiah were NOT good GMs, and Dolan was loyal to both far too long.

He doesnt like being made fun of and he doesnt like being criticized.

Seems to me that we have solid management in here w/ Walsh at the helm and I think come November people will be feeling better about the Knicks.

I would rather have an owner with Dolan's issues than have one that wont spend money.

Wow. Honestly, that makes me respect him tremendously. Takes a lot of effort to go against the mainstream media voice.

I'm honestly starting to be a lot more understanding and lenient with Dolan's media policy, with the way things have turned out the past couple of years. That was my big criticism of him. As well as his big ego.

The players are really getting hammered unfairly.

Gallo
15.1pts 4.9rbs 44% 3fg

Chandler
15.3pts 5.4rbs 48%

Douglas
8pts 45%

Walker (27 Games)
12pts 3rbs 52% and 43% 3fg

Frankly I think these guys over at ESPN have no idea what the hell they are talking about. And Chandler, Gallo and Douglas can all defend and do it well. So why would we still be a poor defensive team with Lebron. Obviously most of it is the smug bastard owner that treats the media, fans, and employees like garbage.

But with a big that needs to be doubled and factoring in Lebron and three guys that shoot a high percentage from the outside we are a top 3 team in the east if Lebron comes here. With the ability to add a max level talent next year. Hopefully Broussard gets the Steven A. treatement

Unfortunately, the media is starting to treat the public like garbage, when you think of it.

Whats makes the bashing even more upsetting is this obvious these guys dont even watch Knick games. They're just jumping on the bandwagon of the usual Knick-fodder of yrs past and have no idea we have improved even though the record doesn't show it yet.

This is probably the real issue, IMO.

Cowherd (whom I like) is awful on basketball. HE is saying we don't have a pg and whining Duhon is gone.

NO we don't have one. YET!

He don't know upside, just the past.

Yup. He's FANTASTIC about talking about sports philosophy and sports issues off the field. He knows football very well, a little something about baseball, and can say awesome stuff....

When it comes to basketball though, especially the NBA: clueless.
