Where would you go in 2010, and why? (basketball and non-basketball reasons).

You're 25 years old, wealthy, and people call you The King. You have all these options. Where do you go?

(So far as I know, these are the four options. I'm leaving out the Nets because presumably they are not attractive until they've moved to Brooklyn).

Chicago
Cleveland
New York
Miami

The choice now is between Cle and NY, unless he really wants to play with Rose (Or blake griffin!)
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

This loyalty shyt that Lebron is on just doesn't matter if you have 0 rings. What doesn't he understand about that ? The window of opportunity in Cleveland is over. Move on Lebron. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if Wade beats him to it signing with the Knicks.

And you're only young once. You can go back to Cleveland (or Akron) later.

I guess if $$$ is the main thing, you resign with Cleveland. Stay close to home. Close to mom, go back to the barbershop in Akron to get your hair cut....

Haha, how could you possibly expect a non-biased outcome from this poll when posed in a NYK forum?

Anyways, here goes my vote: [New York]

(As Lebron) I rule out Miami because I think humid, hot summers and hurricane seasons are overrated. No state income tax is fabulous but in bigger markets I make more with endorsements and proceeds from increased merchandise sales. There's also no chance that I play with Dwayne Wade, as he will always have 1 more ring than I do for the rest of my career, and I wouldn't play as efficiently with a slasher in D-Wade as I would with an All-Star PF running pick & rolls.

I rule out Cleveland because they have the weakest current lineup and are not in a position to make big moves in the future. It gets big points for being my hometown but life is too short to be hogtied to one location your whole life. I would want to enter a huge, new and different market and plant my roots in an exciting new home before I'm an old man. Cleveland will be there for me when I'm an aged grandfather and I can enjoy my peace and quiet.

Chicago has the best tandem with a potential Rose + Noah + Deng + Bosh, etc. combination. It's a grand franchise that has significant history. But it's Jordan's town. It has brutal f**king winters. It's also Cleveland's most hated rival. That's like a big middle finger to my hometown.

Which brings us to New York. The Knicks give me flexibility in 2011, to possibly bring in a significant upgrade such as Carmelo. The Knicks give me a light-out shooter in Rooster who can potentially blossom into a player like Dirk. The Knicks gives me the ability to play with either Bosh or Amare, and the greater chance to play with both Amare AND JJ who are willing to take paycuts to work with me in winning a ring. And I'd be playing in the greatest city of the world, where bringing a championship would immortalize me in the sports universe while becoming THE face of the franchise. And yes, a 50/50 chance of eclipsing a billion dollars in net worth helps too.

My vote goes to New York (as Lebron).

I dont see Wade and LeBron together and I dont see how you can make a team with 3 max contracts and no role players in miami so i rule them out.
I have Cleveland and NY as the top 2 and cant decide. On one hand, you have your hometown, your image, and the chance to win it all where you started, for a city that hasnt won in a long time. On the other, you have NY, where you can be a multi billionaire and pair up with another all star, maybe 2(but 2 seems unlikely).

I have it
Cleveland/NY maybe a slight edge to Cleveland
Chicago as the 3rd option, and Nets my last resort way down hardly in consideration. I'm not going to a 12 win team. F that lol

As leBron I will go to the place were this 3 girls are...
What the hell they will do in Cleveland or Chicago I have no idea.
In Miamy they will be taken away by fr..n Mikky Mouse and Wade.
So the only place this girs can be for me is... The City.

Fortunately, the one on the left is actually WWE Diva, Layla, so she's no longer with the Miami Heat. If not for that, we'd be screwed.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Her face may not appeal to you but here's a picture of the Knicks City Dancer Michelle who I met during the contest thing.

She was hotter in person.

If Lebron wants real bikinis he hops in a jet to Rio deJaneiro or Capetown South Africa, not Miami

If he likes JayZ so much he breaks him off for a concert in his backyard for a Fourth of July cookout and takes the money from the Russian

if he wants to be forever compared to MJ he goes to Chicago

If he wants to make a punk move in his prime he stays in Cleveland

If Lebron wants to man-up and win a championship on the brightest stage in the world, on Broadway, he comes to New York

You do the math

once a knick always a knick

if i were Lebron i'd probably go with the one in the red, tho the one on the right with the curls looks like she's nastier in bed.
