It's been rumored that the Knicks will have new jerseys for the upcoming seasons, probably nothing major but subtles changes to mark the start of a new era.

Do you have any information on that ? You have to think that if that's true indeed, they'd introduce the new players with those jerseys. They can't possibly sell a LeBron jersey with the current design if he won't in fact ever play a game with those jerseys.

they should get new jerseys... but they should also maintain the subtle changes trend. or just go back to the "running jumper" jerseys

I remember Alan Hahn writing something about it....the orange is cursed Lol. He suggested the court should change also. Too much orange on the court

There were a couple of sources two months ago, but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere since. I thought I read that they applied to the league for the uniform change, and that the final design might still be decided early in the summer.

According to a source, the Knicks have had internal discussions about making some minor changes to the uniform for the 2010-11 season.

It doesn’t sound like anything major is being planned, just a subtle tweak and update. The NBA would have to approve and Adidas, the league’s apparel outfitter, would also have to know with enough advanced warning.

Ah yes... hmm, haven't heard anything myself. I wonder what it would be... changing the shape of the side panels maybe?

I think when they do these throwback nights, they should go all in: leather belts, Pro-Keds, no Under Armour pads & compression sleeves, and of course Stockton shorts: see who can really do it old school.
