Ric bucher of ESPN says:

D. wade, lebron, nowitski, Joe J and stoudimare likely to stay with their current teams.

Also word has it that byron scott in serious negotations to be next coach of cavielers..

Guys, i said it all along: lebron staying.. Carmelo will be a knick coming back to NY..

Didn't someone on ESPN say he was 85% going to Chicago last night?
Who cares what ESPN says?

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

If that's what plan B is built around, sounds right fine. But I am not giving up on Lebron until he signs him some papers.

He just said it looks like Miami is gonna get Bosh in a sign and trade- my only question to that is what exactly do they have to send back?

33 ****ing million dollars is a lot of cash to give up--I kind of laughed @ people trying to say it wasnt ask yourself would u take 33mm in cash less? Remember there are money men behind these guys--the best in the world --they don't take less. This plan was so flawed from the start---its almost always about the $$$

The Knicks fcked up but why should we think otherwise?

unbunch yourself. it's not $33 mils man, that for 6 years compared to 5. We've hammered this out tons, it's more like 6 mils difference if you compare 5 years to 5 years.

thats not a fair comparison. the matchup requires a similar cba get hammered out for any extension to try and make things even in the long run, which there is no guarantee of. so it is leaving $$$ on the table cuz the union folded the last time, and if its my $$$, im not relying on them to make sure i get $$$ back.

GO TEAM VENTURE!!!!!

No no no no it IS 33+mm my friend its GUARANTEED cash you don't get that--we cant offer that and there is no GUARANTEE that the player will EVER see that money if he takes 5. Why did RJ opt out today--first he must have some inside info and secondly he wants more GUARANTEED

Great quote but I hope it is wrong, "Lebron is more Joe Mauer than Alex Rodriguez."

If he was Joe Mauer he would've never hit the FA market.

i don't see the Joe Mauer comparison at all... Lebron has always loved the spotlight & is not ashamed of hamming it up for the cameras... Joe Mauer is the quintessential lowkey superstar that doesn't crave attention.

i'd say Lebron is more like Reggie Jackson.

LeBron does ham it up a lot and it looked pretty juvenille in the Celtics series but I also think he is a loyal guy. He owns that city. I used to meet my brother in law there to see games and it was all LeBron in every bar. The first year we went there was a bar that had a ticker outside counting the days until Lebron could be served. The city and state loves him. I think it will be tough for him to leave.

i don't believe that. he's got voices in his inner circle tearing him in different directions.

i dunno, i view him as a guy who wants to be in a big market... Joe Mauer doesn't seem to care about big markets... hopefully Lebron follows Reggie's example & comes to the bright lights of Broadway.

Just so long as he doesn't have voices in his head telling him to kill people and stuff...
