- I've done my due diligence and spoken to 19 people to be exact. I've spoken to reliable people in both New York and Cleveland. I expect him to sign early next week

- Earlier last year I've reported that Lebron is going to the Knicks. The Knicks had the inside track on him. Dolan is well connected to people on Wall Street and he could have made Lebron more of a global icon

- Huge mistake is letting go of Isiah. One thing you can't deny about Isiah is his ability to recruit. A lot of people will point to his failure with the CBA and his failure with the New York Knicks, but he is very well respected by the players around the league. You can't deny his recruiting ability. I'm not saying that they would have gotten Lebron James, but the chances would have been better.

- I've said all of that to say this. First of all, the Los Angelas Clippers were never in the mix. They're cursed and have a horrible owner. The Clippers weren't in the mix at any point.

- It comes down to Lebron picking between the Miami Heat and Cleveland. I've spoken to my sources in Cleveland and New York and I've known 1 guy for 15 years that have never given me false information. You're only as good as your sources. Lebron James is going to play with Dwyane Wade in South Beach. Chris Bosh and Lebron James are going to Miami Heat. Its not official, but I'm telling you Lebron is going to the Miami Heat.

- Amare Stoudemire want to go to the Miami Heat, but the Heat don't want him as much as they want Bosh.

-Knicks aren't on the list because Walsh is getting old. There is no telling how much longer he would be around. I'm not talking about death or anything of that sort, but as for being around the team. His future is in doubt because he is older

- Another reason why the Knicks aren't on the list is Mike D'Antoni. From talking to players in Phoenix, D'Antoni doesn't mention defense 5 times a year. Every answer for D'Antoni is offense. They can give up 60 points and the answer will still be offense.

- The Knicks will overpay Joe Johnson and give him a max deal if they have to bring him to New York. They have to overpay Joe Johnson to save face. Amare Stoudemire is interested in coming to New York because he wants the big stage. He wants to prove he is a max player

If we don't get any of the good guy, I think I'm done with the NBA (cause I can't root for an other team than the Knicks).

Miami cannot do Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh. Stephen A. Smith is on crack here. We should have kept Isiah Thomas? WTH?

Miami doesn't have enough cap room to sign LeBron + Bosh.

When was the last time this guy was right about anything not related to Allen Iverson. They can't sign three max guys without getting rid of Beasley which they can't do.

But, an aside is there a bigger ******* than Ernie Grunfeld. Seriously. Dolan fired the guy and the guy kills the franchise he worked and played for out of spite. Just embarrassing.

If Miami re-signs Wade, they have $27M in cap room.

So Lebron and Bosh are taking paycuts to play Beta to Wade's alpha?

Look, I'm sure Miami WANTS to sign Lebron and Bosh. The disinformation is flying with about 63 hours to go before midnight July 1.

How much older did Walsh get since his report last week? Sheesh!

I can almost see a meltdown of epic proportions from the NBA if LBJ and Bosh join Wade in Miami. Plus I would predict a meltdown of that team. 3 alpha dogs? 1 ball? All in their prime? Jimmy jackson, Jamal Mashburn, and Jason Kids say hi.

Word. Caca is the only way to describe it. Last week Lebron and Bosh were "definitely" head to the NYK. Why does America have such weak ass reporting on sports? It's because the guys who sucked at writing but loved sports managed to wrangle jobs and work their way up. This FA stuff is making a mockery of the notion of covering inside scoops in the NBA.

Walsh is getting old? The dude is not playing. He is the GM. He will get an extension and get a GM to do the day to day and get his hip fixed.

I have two very distinct thoughts about this

1. As a Knick fan, it really blows that it seems we're not getting LBJ at this point, blows even more that teams i despise like Miami and Chicago are ones with the inside track

2. As a basketball fan, and one that simply loves the sport and can still take great enjoyment in the league even when my favorite team sucks (Ive sort of gotten used to it, sadly) this is exciting on some level. Im gonna get to watch LeBron and D-Wade play on the same team? Whether LBJ goes to Miami with Wade and Bosh, or Chitown with Rose and Bosh, its simply a more exciting league with LeBron in a bigger market than Cleveland with more help than Cleveland. This would pump a hell of a lot of intrigue into the league this upcoming year. It would be exciting as a basketball fan to witness LeBrons stacked Bulls or Heat team take on Kobe's stacked Laker team in a final. As someone who wants to see the league and sport thrive, I think this can take the league potentially to exciting new heights.

Using the loss of Isiah as a negative is crazy.

Nets just waived Dooling. I know that he was supposed to be a part of a Beasley deal to impact cap space. I am not sure if this impacts Miami's ability to sign three guys but trading for Dooling's contract is no longer an option.
