Unless they're really kidding themselves into believing Rautins is an NBA 1, it's the only explanation I can think of as to why we didn't draft young capable guys like Torrence, Uzoh, Sherron Collins, etc.. Looks as if we're passing these guys up for summer ball as well..These are all fine young PGs that could've came in and shared the load with TD for next year..Something's got to be up --- my gut is telling me right now that either Tony Parker, Darren Collison or perhaps someone else we haven't been thinking about will be a Knick real soon...No way you go into next season with Toney Douglas & Andy Rautins as your PG tandem...I really feel like something's about to go down. What I can't figure out though -- if that's been the plan all along, why not pull the trigger already? I hope Donnie hasn't gotten gun shy here because the more you wait, the more you give a team like SA or NO pause and the opportunity to drive the price up....Could it be something we plan to leave up to LeBron/Bosh??? Kinda like 'in addition to playing together, pick your PG--Collison or Parker--both are available for us in a trade.'..Think about it, Rautins & Fields are two difference players, but both are 2-guards in the NBA...Together, they effectively replace Chandler. I think Chandler's gone...

What do you guys think? My spidey senses are tingling here a little bit..

tony parker would be decent but who would the knicks give up? Spurs dont need david lee. They have tons of power forwards. also if you take parker, spurs would want a team to take richard jeffersons contract as part of the deal..

Darren Collison, not! Hornets would want to rid themselves of Chris Paul instead because of his big contract. Even if we did take Chris PAul, they would want us to take Omeka OKafor as part of the deal.

We definitely need a pg. Thats what happens when last yrs draft had surplus of pgs in the 1st and 2nd round but we ended up with a forward in jordan hill. MAkes no sense... Knicks mgmt is horrible!

We definitely need another PG and I believe we are trying to trade for one right now. Getting one in a fair trade is another story.

Yep its more likely a trade for Gilbert Arenas.. Complete the trio of Arizona related D'Antoni players... Amare, Joe and Gilbert. Thanks for all the hype about 2010 tsk tsk sigh!

If Knicks end up with Arenas they need to make sure Blatche is included in the deal.

indeed... blatche still has some maturity issues to go on top of that. if we need high char guys, blatche may not be the best fit for mike.

Ummm I doubt Andray Blatche is going anywhere... Maybe some other big would be included! This all speculation, but given the Wizards glut at PG this seems to be our most viable option for trade. Hibachi! Lol

I'd certainly be willing to take Okafor if it brought us Paul. Paul's a star and Okafor's contract isn't that bad - especially if we can get rid of Curry in the process.

Arenas won't be a Knick. Its not even a blip on their radar. Its not so much his gun charges that scare the Knicks as it is that he is damaged goods. They don't want the contract that goes with a player that is damaged goods. Mark it down CP3 will be a Knick yhe deal is in the works.

That ain't half bad. Wouldn't be favorites for the title, but assuming that Cleveland is not in it, and Boston is too old, then you're in a mix with Chicago and Miami, Orlando in the East.
