He just wants two max guys (it doesn't even matter who they wind up being i suspect -- to Mike, I betcha JJ and Boozer would be a homerun off-season) and wants to get back into the playoffs and that's it. That's all the owner really wants, we already know that. And Donnie -- I really don't know what to make of him right now. I think he's just deferring to the coach on a lot of stuff, esp. after they differed greatly on the Jordan Hill pick from last year...I was OK with these two leading into the off-season, right up until we wiffed on the draft last night and now apparently aren't doing the right thing with regards to putting together the summer league team. First time I'm saying it is right now -- I really gotta question the leadership on this team moving forward. We may not have the right GM & coach for the job. I think this is very accurate. These guys (DW, I'm also surprised that we did not look at Randle, and that he would want to sign on with Washington. Does this mean that Washington beat us to the guy; Walsh is not interested; or Randle's agent wanted him in Washington? Maybe Randle is going to try to outplay Wall in SL and make a name for himself? He actually sounds like a nice addition, assuming the back issue mentioned is not a problem: From the Times Record Online: "We've been in everyday contact with the New York Knicks," Nick Paluch, the director of marketing and co-founder of BP Sports Management, the agency representing Washington, said Wednesday before the draft. Another site said that after a nice season as a junior, he was set to be a potential 1st rounder, but that the decline in production during his senior season changed everything. ![]() Washington is the perfect player to pick up for SL. Excellent Jr year. Not as good Sr year due to injury - playing hurt. Yet a very good basketball talent. Give him a chance and see what he can do with no committment made.

![]() Former Seattle star (Mid-Major All-American) Charles Garcia will play in the NBA Summer League with the Knicks
Interesting player from what I have read, but few clips of him. Those of you who love tattoos will love this guy. The good: More impressive is the wide array of skills he’s flashed along the way, looking like a real prototype for what the NBA covets from a modern day power forward. The wow factor when watching him play is extremely high—think of somewhat of a cross between Andray Blatche and Lamar Odom. Garcia plays facing the basket almost exclusively, despite standing 6-10, and is often asked to bring the ball up the floor and act as a pseudo point guard for his team, as we saw on film in the Utah game. He’s an outstanding ball-handler who can create his own shot with ease in isolation situations and is incredibly difficult to stop off the dribble, which is something you can hardly about any other big man in this draft class.(9/09) The Bad: Always in attack mode, Garcia is not terribly discerning when defenses key in on him, leading to a great deal of inconsistency and some problematic habits. Still apt to take a contested jumper with multiple defenders around him, he makes himself a difficult player to play alongside. Creating little within the framework of Seattle’s half court sets, doing the majority of his damage operating one-on-one or in transition, and turning the ball over as often as any player in our database per-40 minute pace adjusted,Garcia will need to improve his ability to function as a roleplayer on the next level. In order to do that, he’ll need to polish his jump shot, be more active moving without the ball, and cut down on his turnovers to be more efficient as a slashes or face-up post player.(3/10) Both are from DraftExpress. Now we have 7-1 6-10 6-10 and all can play that we can take a hard look at besides the wings. Shows just how incredible the secondary depth of this draft was. RIP Crushalot😞
