Let's see what we can accomplish tomorrow night (though the draft and/or through trade). We've got to start there and hopefully we're looking to do the most we can possibly do for ourselves..Then a week later, it'll be time for free agency and the pitch Donnie & Mike have been planning for months (which includes the idea of bringing in a 2nd max star for him to play with right from day 1 -- F me but that's HUGE -- plus NYC, the Garden, Mike D'Antoni and his enjoyable system, the money he will make here through endorsements which will amount to more than if he played anywhere else once he gets the entire tri-state area fanbase on board -- I don't care what any expert has to say, other opportunities, etc..)...Still think we're out of it? I don't. This thing's only over when the fat lady signs, not before.

It's just too bad that it's going to be pretty cut and dry. We're either going to get LeBron James and Chris Bosh or we're going to get Joe Johnson and David Lee. We'll either be dreaming of rings with LeBron and Bosh or dreaming of the 8th seed with Johnson and Lee.

I expect better than an 8 seed next year regardless of LeBron. If we wind up with say Joe Johnson+Bosh, plus the expected growth from Gallo, we could be a 4/5 seed, maybe get home court in a series

Lets see what happens July 1
and the June draft tomorrow night quite an exciting time for Knicks fans even though we're not in 1st round drafting yet ( two 2nd rnd picks) Let Lebron see if his NBA influences and folks talking him to leave Cleveland not for NY but for Chicago or Miami will NEVER be Lebron James teams. He can go play with Wade or D.Rose he isn't no Maybe thereafter LBJ will have to go through his mistakes and perhaps in 2-3 yrs either our Knicks I still like Bosh whom says he aint need influences of stars to make a choice on where is best for him. At least we get impression the less talented Bosh (over Lebron) can make up his own mind and Wade and LBJ is playing chess games with entire league and their organizations a game they will lose. Jalen has no clue where he is going that is why he threw three teams out there. Besides we know who his source is it Broussard.

Given the number of relationships Jalen Rose has in the league, both with players and coaches (he also has a relationship with world wide wes, of course so do a million others) id doubt he couldn't do better than a guy like Chris Broussard, not to mention if Broussard heard that he'd report it himself anyway I wouldn't put 100% stock in any source, because sometimes "sources" have ulterior motives for disseminating the information they do. Even if he heard this from a legit source its possible the source misled him for their own reasons. But i don't doubt Jalen Rose heard this from someone who he feels "would know" |
