if the Wolves are on the market to dump a salary. He's a year removed from injury and he blocks just as many shots as OK4 while also having the ability to do 20-10. He would be a very solid replacement for Lee + a sure fire enhancement for a LBJ

But the main reason for any interest in Okafor and his horrible contract is a shot at Darren Collison.

Exactly - wouldn't it be nice to have some heft to put out there in the middle of the line up, both in terms of defense, rebounding and then on offense.

I'd love to do that kind of deal.

Jefferson is not really a physical presence. If you are asking him to be a center, I think we will be disappointed with his ability to defend the position. He would be a good scorer, but honestly, I think we should just wait until mid-season before trying to address the center position. Other possibilities might open up.

Consider this however.... Al Jefferson is an idiot. He has proven it time and again. He has also been said to been out of shape recently and disinterested in team play and also disinterested in keeping himself in top shape.

Do we really want that type of player?

I would say no.

While he looked intriguing as a Celtic and blew up in his first two seasons in Minny.....since then the guy hasn't been all that special. He had a down year and was out of shape and didn't seem to give a damn about it! Again the guy is a mental midget.

Not so sure I want that type of player. Also Minny was a terrible team and he put up 17ppg on a terrible team.

I honestly would pass on him. He's shown who he is. He will not improve beyond what you see. What you see really isn't that good.

He's just a good player--better than 0hk4 I don't know about C but he's just as tall as oak

It has to be true. I mean, they gave up Ty Chandler (although not amazing in any sense, far superior to Curry in talent and ability to stay on the court (still not saying much)-- and Chandler had a similar contract to Curry. To think they would give up OK4 and Collison to get a player inferior to Ty Chandler does not make sense to me. You can say that was then, this is now-- but I still don't understand it.

Not looking to hack on you here. Just saying that something isn't quite right with Al Jefferson.

As to Curry for Jefferson well of course we'd do that. Minny never would though.
