Now even young bucks are taking shots! Tony Allen fist pumping on Lebron was bad enough.

Lebron shouldn't be compared to guys like the Big O with his triple doubles etc... until he wins something 1st. Maybe we all stop hyping young guns when we comparing them to Hall of Famer's who have won Championships and All. Learning to win CHIPS in highschool and college aren't the same winning one in the NBA.

I hate to say this but young BJ has the same mental characteristics of a Kobe type--he's just hardcore and a nasty game to back it.

We really flubbed there.

I was thinking the same thing. It was ballsy for him to state what he did but he does have the same mindset like what me and nyk were talking about in another thread. I think this guy is a player too.

I personally think the young man should keep his mouth shut. Who the F is this rookie to say anything?? First he runs his mouth about Ricky Rubio & now LeBron, the MVP of the entire league. F this kid man....

agree... this kid has tons of talent but he seriously needs to get his mouth in check... he hasn't done anything yet in the NBA & he's talking smack about a back to back MVP... this is one of the main reasons why the Knicks passed him up... just imagine if he'd have made that comment as a Knick this summer... LOL!

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I think some are taking his comments out of context. Cleveland is a division rival and they had some pretty hostile games this season. Also remember Jennings is from compton and was likely a Kobe fan growing up.

Jennings spoke the truth and some just don't like that a rookie said it. Durant said he didn't want Lebron on his team and I doubt he was joking.

Players around the league aren't in love with Lebron. Contrary to what some believe I don't think Lebron has an easy going personality. He is more Marbury than people want to admit when it comes to personality. Only difference is Lebron is the best player in the league. Let's see how he behaves when Durant challenges him for supremacy in the minds of fans.

Please, steph is in a league of his own mentally! Jennings seems to be closer to Steph in terms of saying stupid things. Lebron is a young guy still and he'll eventually figure things out regarding how he carries himself on and off the court. I'll take my chances with him.

Wasn't it only two weeks ago Durant proclaimed that Kobe is still the best player in the league. Wade said the same thing last year and said it wasn't even close. Interesting what elite players feel vs. fans.

i agree with both you guys. we really did screw up on that draft pick ten fold. i just hope for jennings sake that he doesn't let himself build too big of an ego.

I'll take a chance with LeBron in NY we can't afford not to. But one thing I did learn from this is that LeBron's game has a long way to go. There are so many things he can't do that Kobe and Wade can do in terms of skill. LeBron is an athletic freak and he needs to work on his skill set more he seems very mechanical. You got to be able to shoot off the dribble he doesn't do that well. He has trouble creating space on jumpers and his jumper isn't very fluid it mechanical at best. He doesn't have a devastating fade jumper. He is great going to the basket, his passing skills are off the chart. His shooting and creativity shooting needs work.

I agree.. shut up. I cant stand this part of the league. Jennings had a great rookie year and suprised a lot of people. Long way to go before he starts taking shots at anyone, much less Lebron.

As for Rubio he's leading his team to championships over there. Last I checked Jennings shot like 30% in like 15 minutes a game over there.

Jennings reminds me a whole lot of Kenny Anderson. Very fast feet, very fast mouth too. Build like a high school girl.

I could have sworn last time you and I chatted BRIGGS, toward the end of the season when Douglas had a nice run of gaudy stats, that you told me that you would take Toney Douglas over Brandon Jennings and "Most people would agree with you".

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!
