Sad he is making excuses. Guy doesnt have the elevation he used to get on those jumpers. He used to just raise over guys and drain shots. Dude has no legs and wants to blame the coach. Sad indeed.

As to Mike....

Mike's job wasn't to get this band of idiots to the playoffs. Giving TCrap the ball all game long wasn't changing anything. In fact it has hindered the development of our players.

Mike's job was to become an established coach during a rebuild so when we add new players this summer they are coming into an established setup and not the other way around.

Mike's job is to coach the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 Knicks to victory.

Nothing more.

this has nothing to do with me being behind T-Mac over Mike D'Antoni... it's the comments that i agree with... the system he's had this team running the past 2 years has been a joke.

And the roster wasn't assembled to win. It was assembled to dump Isiah's mistakes.

Nothing more. So I don't understand having expectations...and having them dashed...to the point of fingering the coach for messing up something that was never meant to be any good in the first place.

I think some fans, maybe yourself included, were either still caught up in the Isiah "Just one more trade" scenario and though Walsh was doing the same thing - as if Harrington, Duhon, Hughes were brought in to put us over the hump or something. I think some fans fell for Walsh/Mike PR of "we're going to compete". They had to say it. It was their job. You can bet and know they never meant it and only said it to keep the PR positive for ticket buyers. Nothing more.

Did you ever read between the lines? Not sure you did.

Did I like watching this team suck the past two years? No. But I expected it and I was fine with it because I knew the plan that was being executed.

Now it's done. It's alllll done.

Now let us see what they build and let us see how Mike coaches a team that is built with the intent on WINNING...and not built to tear down a financial nightmare.

again, more lies coming out of your fat mouth... yes, i liked Jamal but supported the trade to unload his contract... i was the biggest OPPONENT of acquiring Zach from the start & wanted him gone, but as usual u resort to lying to make some inane point... i maintained from the very beginning that Nate & MDA would never work out & that Nate would have to go, but again, who cares about silly things like the truth when you have some idiotic point to make?
