J Hill should have been seeing minutes here... but hey, we had to get Bender into the rotation for the playoff push.

Hill is a good player..... No one wanted to get rid of him!!

Fishlips sucks and i am so happy he is gone!!

Wish Dudu and Al left with him but soon enough thats reality too.

Hill never got the minutes Barron got tonight. MDA played him 19 minutes once. He had so many inexcusable dnps. Barron fits the mold of a guy D'Antoni warms up to quickly. He is a vet, mature, and there isn't a learning curve.

Inexcusable? The guy was a raw, out of shape, shaky rookie. Had we not done the trade Hill would be getting decent minutes for us by now. Besides, he's a Houston Rocket now. Don't know the fascination with endlessly tracking players that have been traded and trying to use any good game they have as a shot at the Knicks, you know the team you root for?

We have a plan and Jordan Hill had to be sent out to give the plan the best chance at success. Whether or not that backfires remains to be seen. But if dumping Hill's 2.7M becomes the key to a blockbuster offseason I don't want to hear about him even if he drops 50 some day. Also I saw no reason to pick a forward and no reason to play a forward, especially a shaky one, over Lee, Harrington, Chandler, Gallo, etc. No coach would do that. Especially when the rookie clearly wasn't ready to play. Now he seems to be and now he's getting minutes but let us not make him out to be some smooth player killing the NBA. He's not.

Don't you know? It's more fun to complain about the players we shipped out than be high on the players we have and our future plans.

I could only imagine if certain posters were the GM. We'd be trading for all those players we just shipped out because they have a good game elsewhere.

Nevermind the plan the Knicks are following. Nevermind a decent young core of Lee, Gallo, Chandler, Douglas, Walker, and the newest addition Barron all showing great promise. Nevermind the potential to add proven star power in the summer to that nice young core.

WHO WANTS THAT!? WHO CARES ABOUT THAT! REAL FANS DONT! REAL FANS WANT JORDAN HILL BACK AS OUR STARTING C FOR THE NEXT 15 YEARS!

...it's going to be an ongoing theme for eternity on message boards and it's why not just myself but others chime in only so often now and go days if not weeks without bothering. For the boards are dominated with "OMG HILL SCORED 8 POINTS LAST NIGHT WHAT DID WE DO!!!" while ignoring/downplaying Barron going for 18/17.

I guess it shouldn't surprise me though. It's par for the course nowadays as they say.
