BLAZER GM is on record today stating that talks between him and ZEKE are continuing on a trade for WALLACE !!!! Portland wants KT & DOLEAC but ZEKE wants to hold on to KT & trade KVH but Portland said his contract is too big !!! Sources are ESPN / INSIDEHOOPS / REALGM !!!! I think DOLAN told ZEKE that having KVH / WALLACE / H2O / MARBURY / PENNY is way too much money to be spending or else he would have already pulled the trigger on KT & DOLEAC for WALLACE !!!!!!!
What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

It is too much money but Wallace is a good player. If they could send KVH packing that would be nice - otherwise maybe they can ship Penny? But I dont think the Blazers will bite on that. Thomas and Doleac is nothing for Wallace - swallow your pride Dolan, just raise the ticket prices my man because with Sheed and Starbury this team will actually win games.

If we have Sheed, KT becomes pointless - KVH is more valuable but his contract would kill us. I say bite the bullet and trade KT + Doleac

Knicks took on 100mil more last week. I think even Dolan has limits.

But yeah, Kt would only be a back up, and it ain't our money, so why not.

We don't have to sign Sheed. But since we are all about the moment, yeah, bring him on!

Any good players in the penal system we can get? That dude that just got out of jail and playing in europe, the one they making a movie about. He will be perfect.

Rodman can't be far behind.

KT is more effective than KVH but the addition of Stephon changes a lot of things. KVH will be more efficient now. I'm stil not sure about trading KT over KVH. Plus we need ot unload a contract.

Thomas & Doleac can work for me but we would need to bring in someone else to be a defensive presence and backup up Deke.

The talk about bringing in Miles for Williams and Harrington would be a bad trade for the Knicks unless they can also get Diop to back up Mutumbo and eventually be our Center of the future.

Line Up:

PG: Marbury/Norris
SG: Houston/Penny
SF: Van Horn/Anderson/Miles
PF: Wallace/Sweetney/Leon Smith (if signed)
C: Deke/Diop

IR: Trybanski

Then at the trade deadline we can swing a deal to bring in a defensive oriented Power Forward.

After the season, since it appears the Lakers may be losing Kobe for nothing and Malone, Payton, and Shaq will not be looking to rebuild but win a championship, they may do a sign & trade with the Knicks involving
Kobe for Houston and Sweetney.

Now if all of this can go down I would be a very, very happy
New York Knicks fan.

Ehhh, fine, maybe he does.

He was a terrible GM, and Thomas is doing what he couldn't do in 2 and a half years, IN 2 WEEKS! I do not agree with the win-now mentality, but you know what? Now we're ****ed with the cap, so we might as well try to make the playoffs, and then next year build from that. With this team as of right now, if it stays as it is, then we will not make it past the first round. We need an athletic big man now. I don't mind getting RaWeed, er, Rasheed, or Darius Miles. We need to get rid of KVH, but he actually isn't that bad like a lot of people think he is.

I dont know about that Van Horn has the habit of dissapearing completely when he is not the number one option. You can see it from his days playing with the Nets, and Philadelphia. Sort of how Houston used to dissapear when Spree would score. But if Houston learned to keep scoring even when there's a dominant personality on the court, then there may be hope for Van Horn as well.

A KT and Doleac for Rasheed doesn't work contract wise. We would need to add Shandon Anderson and Othella Harrington to make it work.

TLover - slow down - I like your enthusiasm about trades but I dont see the Lakers giving up Kobe for H20 and Sweetney. Maybe for T-Mac but thats about it. Kobe isnt going anywhere, the only team that can afford him is the suns - you think Kobe wants to go play in the desert? He loves LA's spotlight.
