Against the Lakers. Game isn't over. Can someone post a Brian Cardinal update?

He is at 16, 12 and 4 right now with 4 minutes left. The Wolves are down by 9.

Do we need a new topic every time a former player of ours plays semi-decent? I thought we've beaten this horse to death already.

But while we're on the subject, I wonder what Jerome James is up to? Howard Eisely? Travis Knight? Lavor Postell? Jamison Brewer? Marcus Landry? How come no Nate statistics? I want to see how he's doing in Boston.

i think it's reasonable to post stats of a player that we pretty much threw away for nothing & never gave a chance to even prove if he could help us this season... clearly he's doing some good things on the team we traded him to... 16 / 12 / 4? um, yeah... we coulda used that i think.

The Knicks mission statement is to make sure that they help everybody else get better but themselves. This guy was behind Jordan Hill on the depth chart. smh.

how come you didnt post his previous game? 17mins, 4pts, 2rebs, 4 fouls.

oh that's right, because you have an agenda.

Come on nyk. Everyone has an agenda. That's why you see more people posting in the gamethread last night compared to Wednesday night. Too bad the Knicks can't play the Sixers and Hawks more times a year.

Nah, we are going to bitch about it until we see what Walsh does this summer. I am still mad about that trade.

Darko wasn't playing here so I don't see the reason to get upset over trading him.

He should have been playing and should have been our starting Center from the get go but he wasn't. So trading him was the right thing to do.

Also, it's funny watching some fans hide when Darko or Hill suck ass but the moment they have a halfway decent game there's this sudden uproar as if they are averaging what they had in that game.

They're both around 5pt/5rb since being dumped. Big deal.

Gallo, Chandler, Lee are playing just fine for us. Where was Darko and Hill going to fit in? They weren't. So get over it already. Or stop being a Knick fan. Go be a Rocket and Wolf and Celtic fans.

The crying over Darko and Hill is both funny and lame.

I don't see any Jared Jeffries or Nate Robinson threads. I don't see any Marbury and Mo Taylor threads.

But we cry rivers over Hill and Darko. Go figure.

it's really not that hard to figure out. it's called defense and blocked shots. donnie supplied mda with a couple of bigs to supply both of those. he didn't use them. our team sucked and featured no interior D. they go to other teams and supply - big surprise now - defense anad blocked shots.

little clearer now?

Oh, I understand that....but Mike didn't. So you do what the coach needs. That's what Walsh has been doing.

The Darko deal is also interesting on the Minny/Rubio/Kahn front. It's almost as if Donnie did the Wolves a potential favor - for a future favor.

But, yeah, Darko would have given defense. Hill also did too albeit not all that exciting. Mike just doesn't like those types of players. He wants every one of his players to be a gunner. Not exactly the best way to go about things and it shows. The LeBron dream is likely a dead one given that LeBron wants to play defense and wants his team to play defense. Well, Mike doesn't do that.

Mike will probably be out of here the Summer of 2012 unless we can load the roster up to his liking. Walsh will also probably "step aside" by then.

If Curry was putting up nice stats for another team, would fans still want to keep him around?

I mean, we kinda know the heart and personality makeup for Curry, so my guess would be HELL NO. For all practical matter, Darko is the same (to me). No heart, no practice intensity, already expressing that the offense should flow through him at outset of training camp, talking about playing in Europe next year already, etc.

Why as a coach would you want this type of player on the court? I know I wouldn't.
