Is J.Johnson More Acceptable to folks if Lebron wants him?

The NY Post article on Giddens had these lines at the end of the article:

ESPN NBA analyst Ric Bucher quoted a league source yesterday when he said that LeBron James might be more interested in coming to the Knicks if they have Hawks' shooting guard Joe Johnson.

"If it's LeBron James they want," Bucher said, "a league source says the Hawks' shooting guard is a very good place to start."

If this was necessary to get James over here- if he says "Get me J.Johnson and I'll sign," would that make Johnson more acceptable to people who have voiced criticisms over the possibility of us picking up Johnson?

Can people live with Johnson if he is the guy who brings Lebron to NYC??

Let's face it, it would be easier figuring out a potential "well rounded" future lineup if Bosh's name is substituted for Johnson.

If we sign LeBron James and Joe Johnson, we should trade Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler for some TRUE frontcourt players.

If Lebron wanted to honestly come but wanted Herb Williams to have a max contract--I would give it to him. At the end of the day who cares about number 2 and its not like he is a bad player--but who is playing PF and C?

The league source is probably Joe Johnson's agent or the Atlanta GM!

Maybe Lee would be more interested in Atlanta than Toronto in terms of a S&T deal with some legs. I would most definitely like Joe J. if it meant Lebron comes here, too. Hell yeah. It would even mean we could trade Chandler for a new 4/5 stud or a couple of good picks in this years "big" heavy draft. It's probably more PR spin, but it sounds great. And Joe would not really be another huge ego for the King to handle, he would gladly play second fiddle. Not so sure that would be true of Bosh. And it certainly would not be true with Wade.
