LEE has been our best player the last decade. lets just shut up as fans and hopefully lebron comes here next year because if he doesnt come just rewind the last decade because that is how the next is going to look like.
It's not David Lee's fault that NY cant put another big next to him. Funny how people are breaking them on David Lee
Just breaking down the game for one minute
David Lee had more rebounds than the next 4 highest totals by Knicks players *combined*
David Lee's direct competitor from the other team went 4-15 for 9 points David went 9-15 with 23 points
David Lee had 2 blocks the rest of the team 1
Give me 5 players who shoot 56% and I will win the NBA championship
the guy is avg 20+ 12 reb 3.5 assist It's not David Lee's fault-- go up and down the roster--other than Chandler--who has been consistent for the most part--we have lived with inconsistent players.
D Lee is part of the solution--not part of the problem.
Hes the best player on the team and second place isnt close.
Lee would not have the same numbers if they had another big next to him.
Offensively he is great, an all star. But as the last line of Defense, he is horrible. That's why the team keeps losing. You can sugarcoat it as much as you want. You can blame it on Tmac, Gallo, Walker, Douglas or whoever, he is still a liability defensively.
Having said that, it is mostly a coaching problem. Lee is playing out of position, but
likes it that way, it opens up the paint. The team could have used a shotblocker from the D league, all he does is guard the basket but coach does not like that
