Yeah I really hate LeBron James. Always did. He's an arrogant disrespectful prick.
These antics which seem to get worse over time need to be looked at by the league. It's pathetic. I'm sorry to say but just how the NFL eventually deemed excessive celebrations as taunting penalties I think the NBA needs to do the same. That should be a technical foul. If they commit two "taunting" technical fouls then the team gets fined $5K. Three, 25K. Etc. It has to stop. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

I like how you can't celebrate a basket or else it's taunting and yet they allow crap like what the Cavs bench did after the West dunk. The NBA is really sad and lame. why did they become such huge pussies?
I remember the gritty 90's and even the early 00's. Teams used to go at each other hard and the games were less ticky-tacky then they are now. The refs did not call the garbage, cheap, sissy fouls they call today. The game was better and more fluid and guys would celebrate right in the other guys face and not get anything for it. Now he'd be thrown out of the game for it. I can't imagine how someone like Oakley, Mason, LJ, etc would have survived in this league. What about Rodman? He'd probably be banned by now. Stern has really watered down the NBA product in the past 10 years and it really is very pathetic to see. "Our attitude toward life determines life's attitude towards us." - Earl Nightingale

I'm not a huge L.James fan but you guys sound like whiners. An overreacted celebration is to be expected when a smaller player dunks over a bigger one. shiit happens..
and handshakes like those are done in ALL SPORTS but are only shown in Baseball and Basketball....seem like some of you guys are looking for reasons to dislike the man now. |

He never liked Oakley, made him feel inferior as a man. GET SOME SACK, STERN! |

Going out and beating their ass is the cure.
That fun stuff is all good for the fans and they are paying to see a show. Having fun at our teams expense was humiliating for sure. We have the mecca, the best and most knowlegable fans in the world. And some how those fans keep going to games even to see the most pathetic team in pro sports the last ten years. They are having fun. We are not. |

Bron is like Garnett in that he's a flake who knows who he can try to punk and who not to f/with. Watch the way he loses his aggression when faced with adversity. Can you see him pulling this crap against the Lakers. Kobe would Nuke their whole team by dropping a hundred. Can you see them pulling this against Orlando, San Antonio, Boston, or any good team. I am no longer shocked by his lack of sportsmanship when Orland damn near swept their asses. the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

also, they should have been t'ed up for taunting. I've seen it happen before when a bench player got too overly overly over a Ricky Davis dunk.

Lebron is not unlike a young shaq. The world adores him and offers him an untold fortune and anything lebron wants.
This is what happens when a playful young man is allowed to run over a franchise. It could be a hell of a lot worse. Look at what Mar Bu Li did to the knicks when he was the alpha dog. |

yeah but, young Shaq humiliated you with his play. He didn't pull this type of stuff from the bench. The Army brat may have issues but has (imo) NEVER disrespected the game. LB disrespected Orlando in his finals loss and has disrespected it by the crap he and his bench pulls in games.
I love the way Noah called his biatch ass out when he did it in Chicago. Whish Oak Tree were still here. They would have pulled that crap one. 1time only the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Wow are you serious?
That team has alot of chemistry so who cares about hand shakes BEFORE the game. I'd also like to add that dunk was nastier because West isnt that tall and he finished through contact. It is similar to the Chris Paul dunk over Dwight Howard. NY Knicks - Retirement home for players and GMs

Man, I remember when the NY media and fans used to complain when the Knicks in 90s did simple chest bumps. No way these stalwarts of game purity would ever accept this in their town. Guys like Mitch Lawrence scream of hypocrisy.
