BRIGGS -- McGrady is not quite done yet. Flip him over a few more times, add some salt and turn the heat down. Low and slow.

At least we know where Briggs stands on LeBron:

If you leave Cleveland for NY you are a chump. You will have the credibility of zero. Ny has backed themselves into a corner where they cannot fill out their roster--meaning no big men--no bench and what they have left is vastly over rated. Cleveland has built a diversified strong team with a ton of depth that is obviously in line to win multiple championships if you are a part--how could a winner leave a winning team for such a bad team. I would look at how stupid the kNicks have been over the last 8 years trading from positions of weakness giving no protections on multiple picks that couldve helped them build a team. They have spent more money in the NBA over the last 10 years than anyone else--and second place isnt close--and not ONE 500 team--forget championships. If you want to lose come to NY--it's a lock---READ this Lebron and remember this--if you leave Clev for NY--you are ZERO And this is from a very big Knicks fan:)
You have everything here and in NY you will have nothing. Cheers!

Truth according to you seems to always lay well within the realm of fiction in the real world.

Why do you want us to fail in the 2010 quest and fill our roster up with D-League trash?

What FAN does this?

No real fan speaks like this. You can say you don't think we'll sign LeBron but to speak on it as if you're not a Knick fan but a troll from another team is embarrassing. Going out of your way to make up fake nonsense about this situation to further the agenda. Is BRIGGS even a Knick fan or is he a gimmick poster? Dude's got no business calling other posters out I can tell you that.

And to make it worse, he tries to justify signing bums like Kyrylo Fesenko and giving Tyrus Thomas almost $60M as better strategy in building a team than signing LeBron James. LOL

I'm disgusted by the idiocy of this trade and Im also a realist. LBJ is a bailout for the people who made this deal--but it was never going to happen anyway. If he is a man of his word--why would he come to NY--what exactly is going to provide a winner here anytime soon? I've wanted to build a strong balanced team over the last 8 years starting in the pivot--weve just refused do do it. Dolan wants LBJ as a bailout for his inept handling of his team.

Can you tell me next weeks wining lotto numbers? Since you know for a fact LeBron James isn't coming here.

Unreal.

And how is King James coming here not keeping his word? He NEVER made any promises to Cleveland. None. Take Cosmic's advice and stop with the misinformation.

Ouch. Very surprising post. Be a realist, sure. But that's just over the top.

Please say you will eat those words with a healthy dollop of wasabi when Lebron puts on the orange and blue. You (and your modest contrition) will be welcomed back into the fold.

Why do I get the sense that Briggs would rather have Brook Lopez or Anthony Randolph here, than Lebron James?

While I don't agree that a pivot of Shaq and (to return) the big Z is a "Multiple" championship players, Briggs can speak as a fan, or anything he wants. Its an opinion.

Perhaps he is far to the right in his idealogogy of being a rabid anti "Starphuchist". Can't say I blame him, but I don't barely watch the games at this point. The olympics are pretty, March madness looms, and spring is just weeks away!

Idiocy has prevailed at MSG until further evidence. IN a way if you can't win it makes it kind of fun.

Its why I follow the Nets. Maybe they rebuild it the right way. I root for NY baskeball.

And by the way, I moved to North Carolina 25 years ago and never looked back. I loved growing up there and love to visit when I can. Greatest city in the world. Just too big for my bones.

I look at the Yankees--now they have been big players in FA--but to me they built that team from the inside out. There core foundation were guys like Jeter Mariano Bernie Willaims Posada--built from the ground up. The Lakers had Kobe Bryant---the only thing the Knicks have shown is ineptness Y after Y--they give AWAY their ability their build from within for so many years and THAN have the audacity to continue the inane process. I don't like the Yankees--but they earned the right to bring in FA because they have winners built in.

The Knicks have sht--it's horrible. I'm disgusted how this has gone on. We trade Jordan Hill before he is developed?

Why cant we get a young and up and coming GM like Oklahoma instead of starphucking a 68 yera old guy who is really washed up--nothing personal?

It doesnt take a genius to see what I am saying. Jom Dolan wants to be bailed out by Lebron James--thats it--that is the truth and I hope it doesnt happen.
