1.He had maybe half a prectice (reports say he got in at 7am.
2. He runs the ball up the floor
3. he had some nice behind the back passes
4. Can get to the basket if he wants
the fact that Eddie House looked so comfortable last night & T-Mac was so effective in the 1st half was what surprised me last night... given House has played in MDA's system before but he hasn't played w/any of the Knick players until last night & he fit in like a glove... T-Mac looked very good considering his length of inactivity but got winded in the 2nd half, which was to be expected... i didn't see anything special out of Sergio Valente... i wish i could say i did but i don't sip the Kool Aid simply for the sake of doing so... i'm just telling u what i saw out there last night... i hope Sergio CAN be the answer for us longterm, trust me... it would help to ease the anxiety i have over this whole T-Mac trade.
just to address some of ur points:
1. see above comment
2. i already noted this as a positive in my previous comment
3. he made 1 behind the back pass which wasn't really necessary... all flash & no substance is not what i'm looking for out of my PG, i want to see someone who can orchestrate effectively & take charge when the rest of the offense starts to flounder... i didn't see that from Sergio last night
4. he penetrated to the hole a couple times that i saw... he didn't make much of an impact w/his penetration last night... not saying he can't do this, i'm sure he can, but the comments i'm hearing based off last night's game aren't consistent w/what i was watching out there.
