Jordan, we barely knew you. Some players you get the sense of familiarity seeing them play and lay it all on the line. Too bad you never got enough burn to have broken through my total lack of short term memory. As a result I won't even remember you existed in a few weeks.

The way our picks have gone, I would not be shocked to see you go the way of Sweets and Co. Rooks many posters vastly overrated only to see you out of the league in a year.

Then again, its not like your being traded to the NBA's gulag for NY players (chicago)so, you career may not be over.

Seriously, I'd love to see what Popovich could do with the kid. Him or Jerry Sloan

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

At least Walsh was bold enough to correct a mistake in drafting Hill. I can at least give him credit for that.

Hopefully Houston can develop Hill like they did Landry.

The man can definitely play ball and was not nearly as "raw" as people were making him out to be. If they devoted time into him and chose to utilize him a lot & the proper way, he would've shown what he showed me last year in the Pac-10 -- that his game actually has a good deal of polish to it...He was never given an opportunity here at all. And the times he did play, he wasn't put in the right spots to succeed -- the man belonged under the basket operating inside out, not 25 feet from the tin setting picks...Setting picks for who exactly, Chris Duhon??? Our PG who can't take the ball to the rim to save his life? Just checking...And then when he did roll to the bucket off those high picks, he never got the ball once...Not once. 95% of his offense came when he got the ball 20' from the basket and decided to put the ball up..You wanna say part of the problem was his fault at first, coming into the summer league out of shape, fine. I can see that. But believe me, you will all hear from this guy again. He will turn into a player. He was very good at Arizona last year and can do many "big man" things quite well. Good luck Jordan, I'll miss you.

I give him no credit. The guy has serious draft issues.

I think Hill will do well playing for Adelman. I think he will get minutes right away.

this is quite remarkable. the #8 pick just cast to the side by his coach which forced his gm to trade him along with other picks b/c of it.

It really is amazing when you sit back and think about it. There are major issues that aren't being address about the direction of this team because of the hoopla regarding cap room.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

We've addressed those issues over and over about D'ivatoni. Nothin' we can do about it now, tho.

MDA really did a bad job with the rookies this year, knowing damn well that the team was on the verge of transition. If he played this kid and used him the right way to the point where he got comfortable, had some real success and was given an opportunity to show his worth, maybe then we wouldn't have had to include him in this T-Mac deal. Or maybe we could've held onto that 2012 pick. Oh well. Nothing to do about it now except to bust on D'Antoni a little here for not doing right by Jordan right from the beginning. As a result, it probably cost us more than was necessary in this trade.

Agreed. Devalueing assets and coaching with no apparent thoughts regarding the future of the team are big problems with this coach.

I would feel better about giving him up if I thought that he had no chance to be better than a 20MPG rotational player, but I don't have a good take on how he might end up as a player because MDA never really gave him the playing time to prove anything to anyone.

I'm glad he is going to the West, because if he becomes a player, I don't want to see him coming into the Garden on a regular basis to remind us of our mistake.

The 2011 potential 1st rounder swap is not terrible, assuming that we make some progress next year after our signings.

The 2012 pick, if we don't get the guys we want in FA, could be upsetting, and if we have not improved by the time of that draft, Walsh and MDA may not feel the pain because they will both be gone.

Jordan, I will remember all the highlights of your season here. The times you got into the game and really showed everybody what you're capable of.

I'll always remember the way you took over games and led the Knicks to so many wins. The thunderous dunks. The amazing blocked shots. The timely three pointers.

I hope in time, after this franchise realizes what they've lost in you, that your jersey will be raised to the rafters along with other under appreciated superstars. I'm talking about legends like Renaldo Balkman, Trevor Ariza, and Lavor Postell.

God Speed Jordan Hill.

MDA has a two track mind and they're called Chandler and Gallinari. Dude doesn't even bother to address anything else anymore in his post games. That's sad.

What's the point of not getting Lee out of here right now? If you are really going on in, why is he still here when he can just walk? You can't hope that he will be willing to participate in a S&T in the summer. They got 7 minutes to find a partner.

very well put.. I think the rockets wanted him all along.. the picks were just to stick it to the knicks.. this kid can play. i was just talking to jordan hill's cousin and he is happy that hill is getting away from the knicks.. felt he was being used wrong here in NY.... Knicks fans are so quick to label kids bust, but this kid can play and I am sure the rockets coaches are excited to get him.. Just look at the work they put in with hayes and landry.. Hill has more talent than both.. I can't wait to see what they do with him. they also have kevin martin, one of my favorite players.. I will be keeping a close eye on that team...
