Should have bought out Spoon instead now where stuck for 3 more with Norris

That's just flat out wrong. His contract is the same length as Spoon's and for less money per year, since according to multiple reports the fourth year is not guaranteed.

A person with a heightened need to know the vital print in contracts claims the fourth year in Norris' deal is not guaranteed, while another swears it's only marginally G-ed up. One way or the other, the new data tends to cancel out comparisons to Layden. The jury shall disregard any and all snide references.

The chart is wrong. Here's the second source:

Norris has approximately $15 million on his contract which runs through the 2007 season. The deal also includes a termination clause after the 2006 season.

Before you decide that the trade was dumb, let it play out. It may be part of a series of moves. I'm giving Isiah the benefit of the doubt (since he's forgotten more basketball than most of us will ever know) until it's not reasonable to do so, and it's not close to that point.

He can push it very well and that will help NY. Fwill can play 1/2 court and fast break...that is why HE is the ANSWER fo rthis team.

Chaney is an idiot for taking so long to get him real time. It has only retarded his progress.

We were going to waive Spoon, which would have been a good move. Getting something -- Moochie -- is better than nothing. He's better than Eisley. If we trade him or Ward and get a decent swing man, we'll be much better. This was a good move and it puts us in much better position to make the next move than if we were stuck w/ Spoon.
