If Lebron came to the knicks would you guys be willing to trade Danilio Gallanari ? He does play Lebron's position.

You have to give to get.

G.S has a hard on for the gall, would a trade of Stephon Curry for Danilio Gallanari be proper.

2 different questions. of course we'd trade him to get lebron. once we have lebron? no way, why not play them together. doesn't matter which "positions" you want to say they're playing.

You are right Marv, would you trade Gallanari for Stephon Curry to end our pg worries for next season.

Or is Gallanari not worth a young starting pg to a team with Lebron coming aboard.

I would find it hard to trade Gallanari for Curry, the fans would hate Dantoni and Walsh for life. The community pick

I think you overstate the emotional attachment to Gallo. I think the attachment to Lee is also a bit overblown. I like them both, but deep down I do not believe that either player is the "key" to a championship team. In fact, stats aside, I question Lee's defense as a compelling reason why they wouldn't a team with him as the starting PF or C could not win an NBA Championship.

So, if you ask me if Curry for Gallo would be a deal breaker, after signing Lebron, gettting Curry might be the best move we could make. He's getting some serious minutes in GS now, I don't think GS would make that trade. Now, if GS was winning with Curry getting 40 minutes a game, it would be clear cut, but he is filling the stat sheet on 3's, FTs, Assists, Rebs, Steals and, well, turnovers, but as a rookie his stats are really impressive. He would solve our PG problems for the next 12 years. I would give up Gallo for him in a heartbeat.

Potential wise... This is like suggesting we trade Dirk Nowitzki for Jamal Crawford

I think GS would do it, they love Gallo , just like Knicks fans and head coach. But the question is would walsh and MDA pull the trigger on the deal knowing the Sf position is stacked already with Lebron coming.

To put it another way is Curry better than Gallo now ?

I think Curry is better now. I don't know if Curry will be better 3 years from now. Big men take longer to get good.

Curry is nailing almost three threes per game over his last five and that comes with 24.2 points, 6.4 dimes, 4.4 boards and 2.6 steals.

curry's stats look great as he gets big minutes. i haven't seen him play at all though. how does he look running the team? is he finding guys, making the team play better? he's obviously dominating the ball a lot. is his play conducive to wins? is he playing d?

I have watched most of their games.. and curry looks good.. Not really a natural point, but he can play a lot of minutes there. I like him in addition to gallo. not instead of.. I wanted him in the draft this year.. I really like his game....

What about a link??? Is the GS love for Gallinari documented: does it come from Warrior management or some posters on RealGM; are the Warriors willing to give up Curry, or are you just trying to provoke, as you frequently attempt to do, without anything to back up what you are posting?

Trade Gallo? Have you gone completely nuts? I would not even trade Gallo to get Lebron. Good thing we don't have to do that. We will land Lebron and have him play WITH Gallo in the starting lineup. It's going to be raining threes from all over the court.

Earlier in the season last yr it was reported that G.S wanted Gallanari, this is where I got the idea from.

What they were given up at the time for him I don't remember. So is Gallo untouchable because of his upside ?

What kind of question is this? Hell yeah I would trade Gallo to get Lebron here. I'd kick my mom in the shins too. I'd apologize afterwards, but I'd do it.

Should we trade future for the present?
Yes... because there is no tomorrow in NYC.

I would only trade Gallo for Curry if they included randolph and we included Douglas...

Gallo & Douglas for Curry & Randolph I would do in a second.
