I just have a bad feeling that Lee will not get picked for the game. I can live if Horford is on the team. If Noah, Shaq, or Bogut get in I may puke.

damn lol that sucks.... we know King's posts like this usually mean it happened.

Lee deserved it.

Horford cannot make the team. U cant send a guy avg 14ppg and 9 rpg to the allstar game that is just a joke

If Lee doesnt make the team--than Im watching Dog the bounty hunter.. I think when van gundy says no player should make all star team under .500 is stupidest thing I have heard. Pau Gasol scks because he is with Memphis winning 20 games and an all star with the lakers????????????

Yeah, I think Horford probably deserves it a little more despite how much I love Lee.

But if any of those other guys gets the nod, I will be puking along with you. Either way, Lee has established himself as an all-star in my eyes this season so I hope he gets in.

if you make an argument for lee, then i think you can make a similar argument for bogut.

Does Mo Williams deserve to make it? I just think it would be great for the Knicks to get a All-Star. 13.5 and 9 rebounds by Horford are those really all star numbers winning team or not?

bucks have a better record than the knicks (albeit by 1 game) and bogut averages: 16/10 with 2 blks and 2 assists while shooting 52% from the field.

Probably not King but his defense is much better than Lee's and offensively, Horford is playing as efficiently as Lee is. Add to that the fact that Horford doesn't lead his team in FG attempts like Lee does and you have to think that Horford is very capable of scoring more than 13 ppg if given the touches that Lee gets. And of course, there is the whole "player on a winning team" argument that you alluded to.

I love Lee and I hope he makes it, but I wouldn't be angry if Horford got the nod over him. Al deserves it too.

Lee scores more efficiently and puts up more points, rebounds, and assists. Bogut is the better defender and has more blocks.

You can make a good argument for either one but you can't blame a lot of people for slightly favoring Lee as his numbers pop out more.

dj--I think NY is becoming over rated. How many D Lee ads have we seen on national TV? I think I have seen him on Sesame street.

Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson and Rajon Rondo are locks. I think Gerald Wallace and Josh Smith make it. Which leaves 1 Center and another player. Center will be between David Lee and Al Holford. The other player will probably be Paul Pierce or Ray Allen. If Lee losses to Holford and Pierce, you really cannot complain. Lee is a one dimensional player on a losing team that lost by 50 the other day. There is more to an All-Star just then just stats on offense.

The way I see it, when you are dipping to a team's 3rd best player you are reaching unless you are talking about the Celts a few years ago (3 legit all stars in Allen, Pierce, KG) or maybe the Pistons of 6 years ago (Billups, Rip, Ben). You have to be DOMINANT!

No team is like that this year, IMO.

If you are talking Horford, you really are talking guys like Bargarni, Caron Butler, and Antwan Jamison should earn consideration. Bogut probably deserves it over Lee (but Bogut may not even the best player on his team...)

Pau Gasol was winning 50 games a year with Memphis. : / But I agree with Jeff Van Gundy. If your team is not at least close to .500, you should't make it. Would you say Monta Ellis has done more for his team this year than Aaron Brooks or Deron Williams?

Derrick Rose has been playing out of his mind lately. He might make it.

i agree with isola's prediction for back-ups. also, he is saying lee missed out.

Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo (Celtics), Joe Johnson and Al Horford (Hawks), Chris Bosh (Raptors), Gerald Wallace (Bobcats) and Derrick Rose (Bulls).

I forgot about Derrick Rose - he should make it.

What are your All-Star Reserves? I'm curious what you guys have. Here are mine.

East
F: Chris Bosh
F: Gerald Wallace
C: David Lee
G: Joe Johnson
G: Rajon Rondo
G: Derrick Rose
F: Josh Smith

West
F: Dirk Nowitzki
F: Kevin Durant
C: Pau Gasol
G: Brandon Roy
G: Chris Paul
F: Zach Randolph
G: Chauncey Billups

I objectively took Lee over Holford. I don't think Atlanta should be rewarded with 3 All-Stars. : /

really what killed DLee was fans voting in Iverson over Rondo or Joe Johnson at guard.
