If we manage to have any money left over for a wing player this off-season I hope they give some thought to signing Antoine Wright. Last night against the Heat, Wright played some tough defense on Dwayne Wade down the stretch and he made a big corner 3 to put the game on ice. This guy's big and long and pretty well-rounded. He'll be an UFA -- with DeRozan, Belinelli, and Sonny Weens (team option) I don't know if Toronto will want him back. We might be able to grab this guy for a good price...

carlisle said he was their team's best defender last year and through the playoffs...he's solid and a bit underappreciated. he did play like crap earlier in the year tho but the past month, he's been really solid. his defense is pretty impressive at times.

The Laker's D parted for Bargnani like the Red Sea did for Moses on that dunk.

What was on Bynum's mind?

Hardly a special play for Bargnani- it almost seemed like the Lakers were moving out of the way to help him out on that play.

ahh..but you're not noticing the ability of the 7 footer to go right by gasol from the 3 point line and then side step into the lane for the dunk.

true, nothing special but not too many 7 foot 260 pound guys that can do that. plus, i wanted to give it to briggs and jrzy

I read a lot about Bynum since he has come back from the last injury. He will not put himself in position to get hurt again. He is a much different player than the more athletic version of the player that shot 63% with a double double when he was 20. He does not use a running attacking form at the basket like he did then--he uses his body now to create space/block shots/rebound and will jump at a straight angle--on an ooop etc.. but he wont run jump attack . He doesnt take charges if he doesnt have too---you can see him move out of the way like that a lot. Simply he has morphed his game to stay away from injury potential[notice the huge brace he always wears now] That being said---if anyone caught him last night in the first half--the guy can still be incredible by being more efficient in his movements. If they let him go he wouldve had 50. Better to have a player who can give a lot than sacrifice for one play and suffer an injury that could set the entire team way back.

Knicks Raptors--this is the end line for the Knicks--all of their playoff foes are .500 or better. They are a must win tonight with Raptors on B-B and missing starting 2 guard.

and since the knicks are undefeated at all games i've attended this year (i'll be there tonight) you things don't bode well for your squad.

no it doesn't...although i'll be there too.

raptors not good on back to backs...on the road...and the knicks will be looking for "revenge"...

the knicks just need to play with intensity and keep it close and the raptors legs will get tired.

but...if the raptors win, look for them to go on a big time run over the next 3 weeks. they are 18-8 in the last 26 games, 13-5 in the last 18 with wins vs. spurs, magic, lakers, bobcats, heat and mavs.

lol, he is a hell of a player though. The hate you get in new york for being a raptor fan, is equivalent to the hate i get in toronto for being a knick fan.
