If we manage to have any money left over for a wing player this off-season I hope they give some thought to signing Antoine Wright. Last night against the Heat, Wright played some tough defense on Dwayne Wade down the stretch and he made a big corner 3 to put the game on ice. This guy's big and long and pretty well-rounded. He'll be an UFA -- with DeRozan, Belinelli, and Sonny Weens (team option) I don't know if Toronto will want him back. We might be able to grab this guy for a good price...

The Laker's D parted for Bargnani like the Red Sea did for Moses on that dunk.
What was on Bynum's mind? Hardly a special play for Bargnani- it almost seemed like the Lakers were moving out of the way to help him out on that play. No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. Delusions are as necessary to our happiness as realities- C.N. Bovee

He will not put himself in position to get hurt again. He is a much different player than the more athletic version of the player that shot 63% with a double double when he was 20. He does not use a running attacking form at the basket like he did then--he uses his body now to create space/block shots/rebound and will jump at a straight angle--on an ooop etc.. but he wont run jump attack . He doesnt take charges if he doesnt have too---you can see him move out of the way like that a lot. Simply he has morphed his game to stay away from injury potential[notice the huge brace he always wears now] That being said---if anyone caught him last night in the first half--the guy can still be incredible by being more efficient in his movements. If they let him go he wouldve had 50. Better to have a player who can give a lot than sacrifice for one play and suffer an injury that could set the entire team way back.
