Does Danilo Gallanari seem unfocused when it comes to shooting early on in games ?
No not really, he just needs to warm up
Yes, concentration seems to be an issue early on
I really haven't noticed, I will watch from now on
It's not important, as long as he's hot down the stretch in games
We shouldn't discuss this, it isn't that important

Danilo Gallanari goes thru the beginning of games clanking the ball off the rim or he shoots airballs as if he isn't focused or concentrating .

Danilo Gallanari when focused knocks down shots from all over the court.

Why hasn't the point of him not having his head in the game early on been an issue ?

People always try and place the blame on a pg not getting him the ball, or other players shoot too much.

That's hogwash. He gets the ball and passes the ball to a teammate to his own fault.

Don't blame the other guy for shooting, gallo at times choose's not to shoot.

Out of the next 5 games the 1st 4 are home games and the lone away game in washington

Lakers
Mavericks
Timberwolves
Raptors
Wizards

I think gets warmed up, but not just in the physical sense. So it can be said that it's mental, so maybe concentration, but I think the lack of concentration comes as a result of lack of confidence early, until he is comfortable. So it's a warm up, both physical and mental.

So does he fall under the catergory of "STREAKY SHOOTER" ?

Clyde summed it up pretty nicely, the difference between role players and stars is consistency. Gallo is a nice role player at 21 years, give him a couple of years and he will learn the consistency part.
Expecting a 21 year old rookie (I do not count his first year as he played less than 30 games) to behave like a vet is unrealistic. This is part of the growing pains.

I challenge everybody to simply not vote. This is a troll poll.

I voted the 2nd one only because the first one sound kinda lame.

I don't know WHY but he does seem to usually start out the game cold or a little off. I noticed a while ago BUT this kid seems to always have it on in the 4th.

So a player who is a functional rookie isn't perfect. Let's start another thread about it.

Is he getting more consistant? Is he improving? Seemed the first few games he was kind of lost and he is getting more and more mojo.

Well let's watch the next 5 games. There could be a pattern developing and as a fan it's important to see if it's just a phase or something somewhat consistent.

And the next 5 games are going to tell you that? And when you say, "as a fan", who exactly are you referring to?

It has already been noticed(way before these 5 games coming up) by those without rose colored glasses on,.

This poll is to see if we have honest knicks fans or not. This is just an observation for those who say they are Knicks fans that examine the game.

thank you. it is clearly a troll poll... clearly!!

but the true test of this troll poll is if gallo comes out the next 5 games on fire , completely shattering this ridiculous theory(using playa's criteria).... playa will then dissapear for about a week...

This poll doesn't imply anything about gallo being a bad player or him not getting better as the yrs go by, many here just want to assume I'm saying that so they can come back with an argument.

Let me ask you this andrew... You suggested everyone move on from this topic in the last thread. don't you see this thread as baiting, trolling, and honestly if I must say.. baseless, useless and ridiculous? Honestly... what is the purpose?

I don't need the next 5 games, I have noticed Gallo's shot being off at the beginning of the game off for a month or two now, but it was never important because whether he started 1-3 or 1-7 he is constantly hitting 3 or 4 shots in the final minutes when the team really needs them.

I also noticed that Gallo is ignored often by Nate, Duhon never brings it at the end of games, and Chandler is one of those guys where you look up at the stats after the game and go, "I don't remember him having 17 points...".

Gallo is just streaky. It isn't like he is shooting off the dribble at the beginning of the game. He is missing wide open 3's.
