Gallo is likely to be the best player and draft pick taken since Ewing and is no doubt the most talented with highest potential, but the answer to the question right now is no doubt David Lee.

guys...it's mark jackson. all star game, rookie of the year, pg of many winning teams and many teams that advanced in the postseason...along with being one of the best assist men in the history of the nba.

Slavko Vranes has to rank up there & of course can't forget about Milos.

Yes I agree but as far as a Knick goes I think Gallo will prove to be a better pick FOR US!!

Love Marky J but we traded him and he did most of his damage for other teams!!

ROY for us was big though so I see your point!!

Exactly and this is why I chose Charlie Ward. We actually kept him and he kicked ass for us. Funny thing is most of us gave him a lot of flack back in the day for being average. Yet, in this decade of hell for the Knicks, he'd easily be our best player. He'd eat Duhon for lunch.

I would say Mark - he was a winner. Then Lee - he can be one soon. And then Galo - he can do it, but nobody can predict the future.

Makes sense but Mark left way too soon....... Lee is putting in work for sure!!

But Gallo is basicly a rookie and putting up 15 and 5 plus 2 ass and a block a game!!

Solid D great IQ and a huge set of balls!!

He was the best pick since Ewing. He stayed here for his career. We went to the finals with him. He was the top pick since Ewing.

It would have been Mark Jackson but we didn't keep him.

Charlie Ward is your answer.

seriously speaking i think considering Gallo's age, his skillset, his upside & his maturity level, he is definitely the best looking prospect we've had since Mark Jackson... D Lee has proven more obviously up to this point but give Gallo another 4 years & i think he'll be an Allstar... as far as value goes, based on how late he was picked u'd have to say Lee was the best sleeper pick... Trevor Ariza has turned out to be another excellent value sleeper pick... Wilson Chandler has been a great pick as well & Nate Robinson has shown the ability to be a star calibre player if he ever got his head screwed on right... say what u want about Isiah but he always got very good value late in the draft... if only he hadn't drafted Channing Frye over Bynum & Granger... & curse you Scott Layden for trading away our #7 pick & Camby for McDyess when we could have drafted Amare that year!!!
