These guys are both playing winning basketball, Jamal is almost a lock for 6th man and Zach is almost a lock for the all star team.

Im just imagining how things were shaping up last year, IMO Curry, Nate and Steph should have been dealt. I know it was more for cap space and maybe Wilson, gallo, and Lee's developement, but Im certaint we would have been close to 50 w1ns this season and playing real MDA basketball.

It would have been easy to use there expiring contracts for 2011 in a blockbuster trade for Labron, wade or who ever.

no one wanted Steph's contract, otherwise he would have been traded & not bought out... no one wanted Curry's contract either, he was even more untradeable last year than he is now... Nate should absolutely have been traded last year, but Donnie missed the boat on that one... still, i would still trade Zach & JC if i had to do it all over again... the cap space this offseason was the most important thing to attain for Donnie when he took this job... missing out on the playoffs last year was a necessary price to pay if necessary... we still had our lottery pick to use.

Jamal sucks this is the first time in about 8 years he is shooting above 42%. He isn't even close to a lock for 6th man.

Zach has always been very productive and he is playing with a lot of talent down there that compliments his game. Gasol and Gay is a tremendous frontcourt.

Jamal 17.1pts 2.6ass 2.7rbs 45.7% (40.7% career)
Laundry 16.6pts 0.7ass 5.7rbs 58%

Jamal is what he is a good bench player, Nate put up better numbers across the board last season. He was a 41% shooter as a Knicks selfish and defenseless. He is not validating issue with one good year. He is getting 9-10 million a season not to mention isiah gave him a 7 year deal and had to take on JYD to get him.

Walsh did the right thing or maybe he didn't because he missed the boat on the draft maybe if we were a better team he would have grabbed someone that could contribute this year. The Harrington trade was by far his best move. I am looking forward to see what he does at the deadline

Why we are going back to the last year snow over and over again?
Taking on players in asolation from the team and system they are playing in is BS.

I always like Randolph. He was a bit of a blackhole, but the dude played hard and always found a way to put the ball in the hole. Last year, he started to pass more and I think it has continued. People picked at them for taking his contract on from the Clippers, but I thought at the time that it was a good trade for them because they need a low post scorer who was not afraid to take a big shot.

Plus Z was starting to hit the 3 point bucket. But something about him always rubbed me the wrong way. Good riddance.

Having one black hole on medocre team is OK (Al), another one coming from the bench (Nate) is aslo accepatble, but having more of this is a disaster.
Both Zack and Craf are finishers, they cannot make anybody else better. So no place for them on team with a drive to win big.

Jamal is making what Al Harrington is making... both are 2 of the best 6th men in the game... to say either of them sucks is just being silly.

Jamal in ATL is just mopping up down the stretch when the team goes cold and he lights up.

He is doing the same thing there as he did here. Just a better team. ATL plays a selfish game and not going anywhere. They are super talented but it does not add up.

Sound familiar?

Atlanta's 25-13 but they're not going anywhere, but we're somehow going places at 16-22?

AL Harrington is jamal but bigger, there games are very similar, both need a ton of shots, and both are pretty selfish at times.

Both zach and JC quickly brought into MIKE's system right away, and was sure to thrive, there contracts may seem like a bit much, but they both have been traded twice so how bad are the contracts.

Im not sure what sport shows you guys watch, but I have NBA league pass, and these guys announcing the games against the hawks have all place this guy as the top 6th man so far.

That's what it was. Plus his merciless slaying of Eddy Curry's self-esteem.

JC is much better suited as a 6th man on a good team than being The Guy.
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

I don't care what JC is doing in ATL that's after the fact. Here he was very inconsistent, did not play good defense and did not make good decisions - that's what they traded.

You know after reading all the negetive statements about Zack and Randolph it's a shame. Here we traded some good guys for salary cap room and we still thing that we are getting Lebron. We will be the old Clippers of the East. Lebron can't win a title by himself and when he loods up and see what he has. Its goodby New York. I don't think he would like us calling him names after a lost. It will take years before we win a chamionship. or go the simmies.

Dude Jamal and Zach, while immensely talented, weren't getting it done here and their contracts were hideous. They've moved on to better situations and so have we.

Why look towards the past? Btw, us landing Lebron or another top flight talent is a better proposition than trying to squeeze wins out of Crawford and Zach.
