You have seen this same team lose so many close games that ya hearts have been broken, but if you really love this team you know that what they are doing now is "GENUINE". I'll say it - I think the Knicks still suck. They have been playing better, against teams that lack overall talent. The Heat? T-Mac and the 4 guys that watch him on the court? The Grizz was a solid win I will give them that but they still arent at .500 and there are many changes to be made before this becomes a solid club. This is a nice little win streak that can extend for a few more games but lets see what happens against some elite teams like LA, San Antonio, Sacramento, Houston. Playa...just because the east is weak doesnt mean the Knicks are good.

With that said, I still think this is an extremely flawed team, but at least we have some pride again. These past few games we have beaten the few teams we are actually SUPPOSED to beat, which is an accomplishment in itself, cuz this team didn't even do that in the 90's... but it's still only that... 3 wins against 2 teams... both under .500

Uh you forgot Chaney in the equation. Maybe you thought this team couldn't play because Layden assembled it, but to your suprise they are running chaney's offense with Zeke's overseeing. You don't continue to blow out bad teams by 30 points unless your that good!

See, I think that's it's just the opposite. Understand, that there were lots of times we beat good teams. We've beat a few this year as well. We beat the Lakers last year, and it didin't get us into the playoffs, did it?

The fact is, the good teams in this league are good because the beat the bad teams. When you're losing to teams like Orlando, a team like Indiana can come in and have a let down to you, because it's obvious you suck. That's how we can easily sneak a few wins on better teams. Meanwhile, when you're a good team, like Indiana, every 3rd string rookie is looking to show you up. Beating the bad teams becomes harder.

So the true test isn't beating good teams. It's winning important games. We're one game out of the playoffs today (behind Philly). Let's see how far we can get.
