Tie between Allan Houston and Patrick Ewing.

This is a good question. My favorite player would have to be Patrick Ewing from Georgetown, but in three years I change this to Gallinari

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

No doubt, John Starks. After that, Ewing. Then Oak.
Note: I used to say Clyde, but he lost my respect over the past few years for his atrocious announcing style. Blech. Wish he would just retire already. You think Lebron is going to be happy to have that crap style announcing his games? No, me either. |

Ed Lover's version was pretty good too.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

SG:
I loved John Starks. Prob my all-time fave. Dumb as rocks, but a tough bastard for a little guy. Warrior. Brought it EVERY PLAY, on both sides of the ball. Was a joy to watch and route for. I wish we had a player like him on our team today. It would make our shooters that much better if someone was slashing and penetrating. PG: Derek Harper. Best floor general I believe we've had in my lifetime as a Knick fan. C: Of course Ewing was Ewing and did so much for us. As a fan, I appreciated him more on D than O. While he was steady and efficient on O, sometimes dominant, I think he also stagnated the offense a bit. SF: X-Man. Too bad we got the broken down version. PF: I'm leaving this one open. Oak was steady as they come, but I don't think he's all-time great worthy. Never saw the 70's teams so I can't comment on them. |
