just an idea here but if you look at the box scores of other teams on any given nite there are usually 3 or 4 players that dnp coaches decision.Do you think we are over analyzing MDA here and listening to the whining of the dnps on our team?? Is this a product of the media jungle in NYC, because there isnt anything else to talk about and that the Organization keeps their cards close to the vest? We are talking about how larry hughes is pissed off, nate is pissed but not how the Knicks are winning, how DLee is gonna be an all star, how much chandler is improving, and IMO how we are doing all this without a true center. There wasnt any expections this yr because 2010 is our goal but this team is winning and still exciting to watch now. Just think about what we were talking about last yr(dumbobury) and 2 yrs ago with how this team sucked and all the IT drama.

cooch, as usual, you bring the voice of reason when you post. absolutely we are over analyzing mda. there is nothing wrong here. mda is awesome. compare this season to the last 7 or 8 under isiah "the criminal" thomas. but i gotta clarify what i mean by 'we'. i, as a sane person, am not over analyzing the issue; it's the haters out there on the internet webs.

This is a great observation. Didn't MDA give a lot of guys plenty of chances early on? The team didn't win! So he said, freak that! I'm gonna play the guys that deserve to play and i'm not just stickin Curry or anyone else in there when they aren't producing. That change has gotten us to where we are.

Media guys don't really like MDA. They act like they do, but they think he's a bit to smug about his coaching ability and they want to find anyway to knock him down a peg or two. It's behind all the No D stuff that's been reported over and over. They never mention that his teams were never in the lower half of the league on D. There's no shame in being middle of the pack on D, when you win as much as he did, with a team that had very few defensive players on it.

I think he's done a very good job of using what he has in the best possible way to improve the defense. We have pretty much the same guys and the defense is better than it's ever been with this group.

Danphoney just hates certain players and has vendettas against them. He wants to take their joy and destroy their value as players. That's just the kind of vindictive guy he is.

Jones he can do whatever he wants as long as I want to watch this team and this team wins. Just think about the past teams in the last 6 or 7 yrs.
