honestly, I think this game will be a big test. There is no clearer example of a game the knicks should win. Perhaps finally a glimpse of some consistency?

I agree. mda really has to have them come out WITH BLOODLUST!! we say same thing about the first meeting with nets, before knicks were consistent, and they win, so i think is no problem. but we see. anything can happen!

Well, maybe not so much of a test, as a measuring stick. It should be an easy win, not a struggle.

Still interested to see the Gallo vs. Yi match up

We're not making the playoffs if we lose tonight.

We're still making the playoffs even if we lose, dude, but losing to the nets would set us back, emotionally. plus we would lose all the tiny amount of credibility we have gotten so far from national 'observers'.

If the Swamprats go down tonight, which is not a lock by any means, that's 30 losses - all before the new year. And there probably won't even be 30 people at the game.

Just for reference, all-time worst 82 game record is 9-73.

jrhustla - let's be perfectly clear, I support ALL Knicks.

whether they play or not.

I support Nate, Darko and even Marcus Landry. I supported Trevor Ariza, Ime Udoka, Mardy Collins and Ken Bannister.

So sue me.

Interesting. So what you are saying is that you only support certain Knicks?

Who are your chosen few?

I only support players dedicated to winning, and the young guys get a pass too.

To support somebody like Eddy Curry is stupidity.

I'm With Stupid >

"To support somebody like Eddy Curry is stupidity."

Eddy Curry is not the first pro athlete to recognize his gifts past the prime time he could have maximized his development. Despite his self-imposed struggles on the court or his struggles with family tragedy and violent circumstance OFF the court, I don't have the venom you seem to have stored that would relish his demise or failure. I just don't see the purpose in hoping for someone to fail.

If that is your definition of stupidity then I'm a stone cold fool for wanting to see him get it together.

jrhustla, your brand of resentment and bitterness directed at young men who struggle to find their life path, just like most of us in our twenties, is astounding and confounding.

Party on.

The Answer Man's reports are D+ retorts

"I just don't see the purpose in hoping for someone to fail."

Q: Where did anyone say they hope Eddy Curry fails; Hasn't that already happened?

A: Eddy Curry is a millionaire many times over because fans invest their time and money on their team. We spend time reading and watching and generating ad revenue. We spend money on cable channels, merchandise, and tickets. We are consumers of the Knickerbocker franchise product. To invest any more in a lost cause defies economics and is horrific consumerism.

This is capitalism at its finest. To view it otherwise is socialism at its most ludicrous. People only think socialism is a great idea until they run out of other people's money to spend.

We need this win to establish that we are a serious playoff contender. With a win tonight, we might get to the 8th spot by next week.
