Trail Blazers center Joel Pryzbilla had to be helped off the court by teammates in the first quarter of Tuesday's game, after suffering what appeared to be "a horrific knee injury."

With Oden and now Pryzbilla hurt, the Blazers are absolutely starving for a big man. With the way Lee is playing we could probably get a very nice package from them, but I don't want to trade Lee.

Any ideas?

They could move Aldridge to 5 but there are a bunch of 5's just sitting around the league who have talent. Maybe they can go there. I see us resigning David Cowens err Lee.

I was thinking about them moving Aldridge to the 5 too.. if they do that, they should goto an up and down type game.

I wonder if they'd be interested in Harrington at the 4? Other than that, there's not too many options when it comes to the Knicks. I think Lee is playing just way to well right now, yeah I know he doesnt play Defense, but you know what, with what he's giving us offensively, it doesnt matter. Maybe they'd be interested in Jeffries? I'm not sure.

LOL I completely forgot about him.

I wonder if we could make the contract matchup without hurting our cap situation - might have to get a 3rd team involved.

Curry has no value right now.

Harrington might appeal to them... they could use his scoring... Lee would bring much needed rebounding presence in the absence of their bigs... they'd have to give up a significant package tho.

a cheap trade option would be to offer them Darko for 1 of their expirings they aren't playing, but there aren't any matches.

btw, they just activated Jeff Pendergraphe

While I agree around the league Curry has no value, I do think a team like the Blazers (who are 18-12) would be desperate to pick up the phone and call the Knicks because like it or not Eddy is a center and can score. And while he's a risk, he's going into the final year of his deal and a deal where Curry goes there and sucks wouldn't have terrible ramifications.

I think theres a possibility something can be worked out, I think it would have to be a 3way and I would love to get GS involved so we can get our hands on Anthony Randolph.

forget about getting AR in any Curry deal bro, that's not gonna happen unless we're throwing in other assets.

for argument's sake if POR were interested in Curry, there's really nothing they have that fits... they can give us back Blake, Outlaw & Juwan Howard to match the dollars where we don't take back any longterm salary & even still i think we'd have to throw in other assets to get that deal done.

Hill for Bayless.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Sadly Portland doesnt have the contracts to get anything serious done. I dont see Dolan allowing David Lee to be traded at this point either.

let's face it, Donnie Walsh is in man-love with Al Harrington & won't give him up unless we're getting back some major talent in return, & it will be tough to get back fair value for D Lee in a trade too now because of his expiring contract, BYC status & the fact that his Bird Rights will be lost if we end up trading him & he signs off on it... the time to trade Lee was last season if we were gonna trade him at all... now you're either gonna watch him walk for nothing or have to overpay to keep him in NY... our options are severely limited w/him at this point.

If you are the Knicks, you would regret making this trade, if you did, at some point in the future, IMO.

The only teams that would be interested in trading Lee for anything of value would have to have at least 8M in cap space next year in order to resign him. Lee would have no bird rights and would essentially be only available to a team in this situation for the mid level.
