“I’m not thinking about cracking any rotation,” Bender said. “Just whenever he puts me out there, calls my name I’m going out there. If I’m pleasing myself, I know I can’t please everyone else because I’m my biggest critic.”

Big and Tall Man Shift Du Jour

6'5 Hughes
6'8 The Mayor, "rumble young man, rumble" - Bundini Brown
6'10 Gallo, "don't lose the intensity" - Michael Irvin
6'9 Lee, "who's bad?" - Michael Jackson
7' Bender, see above

I would have gone with something along the lines of... As Donnie MULLS the trading of Nate Robinson it is the knicks versus the BULLS.

But, well, what do I know, I'm about 50/50 on bothering to watch this game. Skipped the last game after about half a quarter cause it was painful to watch. That wasn't basketball, I don't care the outcome, that was not fun to watch.

We will see.

If we don't beat a team that just had a back to back and blew a 35 point lead then I don't know if I'd watch another game!

Cosmic - as much as you may think you would never watch another game you cannot deny that you would peek just for a glance.

Don't make the comical error of betting your life on it.

Of course I would. I'm just at the point where I wonder if I should bother to adjust my schedule around the Knicks is all. Go through the trouble of recording the game and posting it. You know, things like that.

The other night I felt...nah, not worth it, although I was beat up pretty good from that blizzard I dug out from.

I'm 50/50 about tonight's game. We will see when it draws near whether I settle in to watch it or look to do something else.

Vote early and often.

Q. GodSaveTheKnicks - Why is Chandler The Mayor?

A. It was a carefree hook initiated the Summer I caught him at Summer League in Las Vegas as a rookie. I thought the quiet, unassuming young man had potential, and deserved the support of random campaign (not unlike The Willie Tasby Fan Club) to boost his stock. Every now and then, a shy guy like Kurt Rambis, Chris Dudley or Louis Orr develops a loyal following.

As his campaign manager, the nickname of The Mayor was just arbitrary and abstract enough to fit. The best part? He can play. Certainly he has his flaws. What 22 year old does not? All the more reason he needs your vote.

He must marry my daughter.

Hey Cosmic many of us appreciate the games you post even the losses! I just went thru doing my daughters marriage and that cleaned me out! Great wedding tho:). I just couldn't spring for the NBA and your the only lifeline I've got with my schedule. I hope you do decide to watch and post the game for my own selfish reasons, plus I think watching Gallo n Chan grow is worth the effort of watching some bad games.

Jrhustla - last I checked, my boy Eddy Curry was working on the stairmaster alongside his boy Nate, while Gallo and Chandler huddled with their boy David Lee to decide where they were going for a pregame meal. LaMandas off Tarrytown Road is the closest thing to the Italian restarant on The Sopranos

Up Next... Harri-Gate

Al Harrington is shooting 31 per cent from three point range for the season and only 25 per cent in his last three games including the 4-13 Chuckfest at Chicago.

(Fearless prediction number 893,277)

Al Harrington is under close surveillance. His minutes will continue to be gradually trimmed by Dictator D'Antoni. He will be "benched" during critical minutes as D'Antioni tests the resolve of his yoot under pressure. I don't have a problem with coach/ dictators... hey, somebody gotta take the weight and somebody must make the difficult decisions.

It is not the head coach job to make his players happy. The job is to get them to play as one.
