So who'e it gonna be - Chicaga, maybe N8 loves deep dish pizza, GSW - wine and cheese hot tub party's could be the ticket, Portland - don't really know what goes on in Portland, Washington - Hey, N8 can hang with the prez, Minnesota - well they love Love but will they love the little man, L.A. - N8 was built for L.A. won't be long before he's featured in an action flick and has his own action figure but what can e get from the clips?

Nate + Jeffries to Wash for Foye and Mike James(injured and expiring). Foye just isn't being given many minutes and we could use him at G.

Wash has lots of injured players and need bench strength. Injured are Mike James, Mike Miller, Crittenton. They need a shooting guard (Nate) and a forward (Jeffries)
Salaries match. And Foye has a Qualifying Offer next yr for $4.8 mil

Why would other teams want nate? Whats his rep and how would he blend into another lockerroom?

Sadly since Nate has been in the doghouse we have killed his "trade" value. Any team that really wants him just needs to have the MLE next summer. I think we can get a protected first rounder for him though if we take back expiring garbage. I would love to get some of Memphis's picks.

the hope is to find a team trying to get some kind of value out of a player before he walks for nothing next season just like we are... this is what i knew would happen last year when i said we shoulda traded Nate before the deadline... now Donnie's options are severely limited & we're more than likely won't be able to get back good value in return for him in a trade... i tried to warn you! (sorry Bip)

Nate to Portland in a larger package that could net us Rudy Fernandez, Bayless and/or their 2010 1st round pick. That's what I'd be trying to work right now if I were Donnie..Nate's from the area, is good friends with Roy (both went to Washington) and possibly good Martell Webster as well -- they're all Seattle boys. Nate would definitely approve a trade to go there and I think they could use him now that Rudy's out. I think that subdued crowd out there would love him...IMHO, that the best destination out there for the little fella right now..

I'd really explore Portland as a trading partner. I think we could really get a nice young guard or two from them in exchange for Lee & Nate, two guys that might bolt on us at the end of the year FOR NOTHING. If we traded Lee to Portland and got back at least one nice backcourt piece, we could now go out and get Bosh on the FA market with a clear conscience and not even have to consider a Bosh or Lee debate...And I think the Blazers could really use Lee and Nate - for now and the long-term.

that's what i was thinking too... CHI needs that scoring energizer guy off the bench in a bad way... they sorely miss Ben Gordon... Nate isn't Ben Gordon but he's a lot closer than anything they have coming off their bench right now.
