Any truth to this statement?

"Robinson's representatives have become furious with D'Antoni's treatment of their client and likely will take action today. Agent Aaron Goodwin declined comment."

Take action today? What does that even mean? Are they going to hold D'Antoni hostage in his crammed office and make him watch Nate Robinson highlights until he breaks?

needs to grab pringles by that dumb ass mustache, stuff his face into eddy currys jock strap until he passes out from the fumes. Then ask him to explain why EC gets minutes but N8 doesn't.

Not like anyone will be fooled by EC (just like they won't be fooled by the #s Eric Dampir is putting up).

N8 at the very least could hit a jump shot and, unlike Duhon, if and when he jacks up shots they actually have a chance of going in.

Seriously, I can understand benching N8 if he's acting out but, not at the expense of winning. No argument for playing EC over N8 or even Douglas. His defense (when he does play) has been overrated since post preseason. When he averages more than 2 assists a game and doesn't jack up dumb shots too (which he was doing) then pringles may have an argument

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

if you don't understand why Curry is getting minutes then you are really not paying attention. Or caring.

D'Antoni is an interesting guy. He is not a disciplinarian and yet once a guy gets into his dog house he doesn't let him out until Walsh handles it. I wonder how Walsh feels about being put in this position again. I have to believe D'Antoni was consulted before Nate was resigned.

You make it out like MDA and Walsh don't talk or never do. You don't think that Walsh and MDA come to the same conclusion on guys like Marbury or Nate?

It's my understanding that Walsh goes to every Knicks practice. We see him in the stands at games.

I'm wondering if talks of Sessions for N8 could heat up next week. Nah, I guess not. While his salary is reasonable, we could have just signed him this summer....but maybe since neither is working out Donny might consider it again cap space be damned

MDA is a guy that does things a bit different, but his type of discipline can be just as effective. If you know that you may not get back in if you get in his doghouse, you can expect that the guys that play are gonna play hard. He doesn't have to yell at the players, cuz he holds a big stick...PLAYIHG TIME! Now we have lost the last 2 games not because of any discipline issue, but just teams figuring out our weakness. They attacked our strength and took that away. This may in fact hasten Duhon's departure from having a prominent late game role. Also it hasn't helped that Al and then Hughes have been sick or hurt.

Nate could help with his penetration abilities, but we'll see if MDA makes that move or not. I thought TD could be a valuable asset in this regard, but MDA has to make that move.

I doubt it, I mean do we really want a guy who can't shoot the 3? He is great at penetrating and dishing, but not being able to shoot the 3 in this offense could hurt. I'm not so familiar with his game and not sure how his mid range game is (if he has a good one that would compensate to a degree.).

As you said, the cap space might be the bigger issue...

Great points. I really expect to see an adjustment from the coach. None the less, I don't like such a short rotation.

hopefully a trade is imminent... Nate deserves to be playing somewhere... i can understand MDA trying to get across a point but this is going way too far... he's messing with this guy's livelihood now... how is Nate supposed to earn a contract past this season if he's not getting playing time? if you're not gonna play him, then trade him... stop with the ridiculous kindergarten treatment sending him to the corner to wear the dunce cap, these are grown men you're dealing with here... Nate is obviously not gonna change his ways, so find a team that's willing to take him & give us back a player we can use & be done with it.

MDA isn't playing with his future. He basically feels that Nate isn't a winning player. He can't get DW to eve think about trading him until I believe Dec. 22nd. Even then Nate has to agree to it and what MDA is doing is basically forcing his hand to make him agreeable to being traded. It's a rough business but these are the kinds of things you have to do in business.
