JJ + Hill for Maggette and AR

Gets GS out of Mags contract and only adds like $2mm to our cap next year

Maggette's contract is pretty heinous... i'd ask for Curry back in that deal

I see where you're going Fish -- getting this kid Randolph would be tremendous -- but if it's really the potential firesale out there like we're hearing, the guys I'd really want would be Randolph, Ellis, Morrow, CJ Watson, Brandon Wright and of course Steph Curry. Don't really have too much of an interest in anyone else on that team...

If we ever put together a blockbuster to get Randolph AND Ellis (to get both of those guys together in the same deal, I wouldn't care what young pieces we'd had to give up -- Hill, Doulgas, Gallinari, a future pick or two, whatever man -- even Lee & Nate though I doubt they'd agree to go there), now you can stand there with a straight face when you sit LeBron down next off-season to sell him on the Knicks' future. LeBron..Ellis...Anthony Randolph...Even if we'd have to renounce everyone else on the roster, that's a PHENOMENAL trifecta to go forward with right there...If we ever got to a position to put those 3 together, you piece together the rest of the roster with role players just like Chicago did with Jordan & Pippen and go to war...IMO, for Randolph & Ellis, you go all-in on a trade like this. Not so much for Randolph & Maggette (Corey's contract is awful, not to mention he'd add to the SF logjam we already have - in your trade scenario, would you really want to bring him here to play ahead of AR, Chandler or Gallo??). No thanks to Corey Maggette but it sounds like we might be able to do something with Golden State here.. If we can get Randolph & Ellis and still maintain enough of a salary slot to add one max FA, it's a no-brainer if ever there was one...

Now I'm dying to wake up one of these mornings and read in the paper that Walsh is having conversations with the Warriors....Pick up the phone Donnie. Where there's smoke, there's fire -- he's gotta jump on this before some other team out there engages the Warriors..

LET'S GO!!!!!!!

you have to offer them something in return. Its hard to put a finger on what that team is doing because its such a circus.

Morrow is untouchable.

I think Curry is also, which is ironic because the fans are NOT enamored with him at all, and he's played pretty poorly. He makes Nate's defense look first team and the game is too fast for him right now. Can he adjust? Maybe, but the concerns about him at this level are exactly whats causing him problems. First and foremost he's NOT a PG.

why? I know our management was enamored with Curry, obviously GS was also but I'm not sold on his at this level at all. He's played like a poor man's Eddie House

LeBron likes Curry. They're boys...Curry could help us recruit Lebron (along with D'Antoni)...I'd bring Steph Curry here for that alone. Plus, let's be honest, he's a very good talent. Curry would really blow up playing next to LeBron James...

This is the trade I want to see happen.

Lil Nate, Jordan Hill, Landry for S. Curry, Morrow, Devean George, A Randolph.

Cut George right away.

we're getting the 3 better players in all 3 cases, why would GS make that trade bro? Morrow is better than Nate & Jordan Hill is not gonna get us S. Curry by himself much less AR throw into the deal for Marcus Landry.

Fire Sale. Take advantage of them fookers while we can. They might think Lil Nate and Hill is better than Curry and Randolph right now. I actually don't know much about Morrow and put him in there for salary purposes.

Morrow scored 47 the first game he ever started for the Warriors vs. the Hornets SL squad... right now he's like one of the better shooters in the game bro... they picked him up off the scrap heap undrafted out of the D Leagues & he's been a mainstay of their offense ever since... Donnie Nelson absolutely loves the kid, there's no way they'd throw him in there as salary filler.

i think the most u could hope to get out of Nate & Hill package is Curry by himself & whatever scrub expiring filler they got, but i don't see why Nellie would want any part of Lil Nate & his shenanigans in GS when he's already having problems dealing w/Monta & couldn't handle Jax or even Al Harrington.

I'm thinking somehow we can work NJ into the deal, grab Lopez (NJ's desperate) and be set for the next 10 years. Whachoo think, Fish?

At this point, I'm not sure that AR is better than Hill. Hill has a jump shot and more bulk. And I don't want Maggette on the Knicks.

How about this blockbuster without Morrow?

TD, Lil Nate, Jordan Hill, Eddy Curry

for

A Randolph
S Curry
Mikki Moore
Devean George
Raja Bell
Vladimir Radmanovic

Cut Mikki and George right away.

and if your GS you would do that? Why? Not trying to be an ass (that comes natually) but GS isnt our farm club. What do they get back? Thats terrible. I put Maggette in the trade because its a way they can dump him and his bad contract.

I would have to go back to the same reasoning I had before. They want a fire sale. They need some talent to comeback to them.

I think Lil Nate and TD compensates for losing S Curry.

Jordan Hill for AR. In their view, this is probably the best they can get for AR and I would have to agree. They are not getting Amare for AR. They can only hope to get another young big with potential.

Moore and George are contract fodder.

Bell and Radmanovic is a small price for Eddy. Which really is a wash. Right now, you can actually devise a game plan for Eddy. You can't say the same for Bell and/or Radmanovic.
