Did I hear D'antoni mention the "p" word in his post-game press conference?

Dude is definitely drinking his own cool aid.

We're actually only 2.5 games out of the eighth spot. But this team is only one injury away from a six game losing streak.

A man can dream, can't he?

Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

we're also a Jared Jeffries injury away from a 6 game winning streak... there's always a flip side.

Man, Jeffries is the worst finisher in basketball. Did you see that horrible reverse layup he tried to do that hit the bottom of the rim. It is just sad. But I will say that he defense is stellar. In fact, I think in the win today, he actually was a positive for the team. If his teammates can learn to stop passing to him when he is around the basket, he can be a helpful player.

Honestly.. this team really isn't playing that badly. Hughes, Lee and Harrington are all playing at a pretty good level right now, add in Gallo playing at a good level himself and this team is going to win some games. I don't know how many games they will win, but they are playing pretty solid right now.. we'll see what happens with trades and what not.

I think it is possible, if MDA ever removes Duhon and starts Hughes at pg with Douglas as the backup. Duhon at least is starting to attack the basket but other than the Atlanta game, he has been a huge negative for this team.

I hope that make the playoffs. I would really hate to give the Jazz a top-3 pick.

the team was playing well when he was on the floor so i can't hate on him too much today... but i don't think his defense is that good that it warrants us playing 4 on 5 on the offensive side of the ball every time he's on the floor... would still much rather see Hill getting his minutes.

This happens every year. We're always just a handful of games out of 8th but never make it....and in the final month or two we tank. Why is that? Because playoff bound teams start playing like playoff teams while those who tag along for a while finally break down for good.

You can dream...but it will remain a dream.

I think the idea was to try and get to 40 wins but there are so many East teams off to poor starts that we're still in it. We have enough to get in the race IMO.
As I've said and been bashed for this team has underachieved and even more so this season. It's not shocking to me for this team to start having some success. The talent suggests this team should be fighting for a late playoff spot.

The poor start for Duhon, Chan, Nate & Al made it seem like this team was horrible but now that they playing closer to their normal level you can see that it's not a bad team. Not good but they have a shot to be in the playoff hunt.

Knicks are going to make the playoffs. The bottom half of the east is really weak and I'm sure Donnie is going to make a move that will increase the talent level enough for us to slip in.

we're .286 and now have moved from third worst in the league to fourth worst, and we're talking play offs?

For 10 plus years, this team has been one big If: If we had one more player, if our players play up to potential, if if if!

Well, we are only 2.5 games out of 8th spot with a bunch of overtime near-misses. You toss a few more wins here and there, consider how tough we played against the Celts, etc., and it's not so far-fetched.

Plus you see we're settling in on a rotation, first time since MDA took over, and Gallo is developing nicely. There's a lot of hope.

Winning 3 out of last 4 makes us one of the hottest teams in the league.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

we passed on AI, what makes u think Donnie's gonna make a move to improve the roster? any move will likely take shots away from our young players too... of course, they could change their mind at the trade deadline if this team is in contention.

Too early to talk. We need to just be playing better. Whether its for the playoffs or whether its for sending our players away for some nice draft picks, it helps us to be playing well.

I think David Lee, Al Harrington and Larry Hughes all have big value for a borderline contender right now.

The absence of nate has been a plus factor, and the good play of larry, and duhon and a decent rotaion.

If nate or tony can lock down that back up guard spot, and curry gives us a decent 20mins..it shouldn't be that difficult.

I think we loss a most of our games cause or offense suck..

I appreciate jeffries, a little because he does do a lot little sht that goes un notice, IMO he's definetly a 7th 8th man off the bench.

This is the Layden era v2.0 when it comes to bringing in choir boys and the like. Explains why we passed on Jennings. The thought of having A.I and Nate on the same team probably kept Donnie up at night...till 9 o clock.

You should glad to see the org. Looking to try and bring in players that are smart and professional, along with being talented! Gallo, TD & Hill are good kids with talent! What's wrong with that! Nate has talent but isn't professional. MDA is trying to change the level of focus on this team and guys like Nate undermine that.

if that's the case then forget about bringing Ty Thomas in here, he's another mental midget type player... & Al may be many things but one thing i've never heard him described as is smart... i'm glad the team is playing well & it's great to see Al Harrington being a large part of that success, but i still don't see any future for him on this team... the only way he's gonna be around after this season is if Donnie doesn't get any worthwhile trade offers at the deadline this year & Al agrees to sign an extension at significantly lower than market value... i just don't think the Knicks have it in their plans to extend Al or D Lee any longterm, big money contract extensions.
