Official Game Thread

I am flying to atlanta tonight I will miss the game. Going to watch my Eagles play the Falcons

What to look for tonight Toney Douglas and Al Harrington had decent games scoring wise last time these two teams played both notched 23 pts.

Hawks mauled us in the 3rd qtr scoring 37 pts. knicks shot 47% and the hawks 54%

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

The Hawks are a really tough matchup for us at every position. Gallo will probably be defended by Smith who is very long and blocks shots and is quicker then Gallo.

I am interested to see how Gallo adjusts his game against the Hawks whom he faced recently last month.

Briggs get ya pad and pen, the excuse makers will be in full force tonight.

Who are these Gallo haters you keep speaking of? I know I haven't been around all that much but I just don't see these guys. Who are they? What do they say?

Meanwhile, I'm going to tune in for a while tonight....whether or not I stick with the game is largely up to the Knicks not being an embarrassment. Things are getting out of hand to the point of wondering why I should waste time watching.

Cos, u keep asking me the same thing... i'm telling u go back & read over the threads that were being posted last year in & around the draft... i know for a fact BRIGGS called him a bust before Gallo ever played a single NBA game, only commenting on his "stiff legs", his perceived inferiority of the Euro Leagues in comparison to the NCAA & projected Gallo as the next Boki Nachbar & said Ryan Anderson was just as good a prospect if not better... islesfan referred to him as "Il Bustino" on a regular basis before he ever put on a Knicks' uniform... TrueBlue said it was a horrible pick from the get go... playa & McK1 are still crying about the pick to this day... there were plenty of others, those are just off the top of my head.

Well, come'on TMS, with every pick or every new traded player, there are those who are on a bandwagon and those who are going to be skeptical. With Gallo what you have to remember is even though he immediately showed great skill (That one SL quarter) his injury status, and a downright pathetic handling of his injury and the terrible reporting of his injury status, had a lot of fans turned off. I know I was pissed off about all that. So I don't know .. I think what some perceive has hating on Gallo was mostly just fans being very annoyed that our lotto pick was on the shelf, and, the franchise just wouldn't give us a clear cut answer as to what was going on. That whole "Will re-evaluate in 4-6 weeks" bit was VERY trying for any fan.

At least...that's what I see here.

can't stomach watching the rest of these bums, because we know hill and douglas won't play much.....
