What is scary is that the Lakers were backing off of him and daring him to shoot. That takes away any potential at driving as he just isn't quick enough. Basically, if that is the case, you can't lose anything by letting Douglas start with the ball. Keep Gallo out there to try to help with movement. The only thing that Duhon does at this point is play some defense. He can't shoot, can't break down defenses, and on and on.
Give the ball to Douglas D'Antoni, even Nate to a point. If we want Douglas to learn the position, then we might as well start now. At least other teams have to pay attention to him...
What is interesting is that the Coach is going to be, or rather is, forced to play rookies over vets but for some reason is so reluctant. I think we can surmise that Duhon is not in a slump as it extends to the second half of last year and is actually getting worse.
