I've been watching this kid for awhile and i think he's going to turn into a darn good PG. He's 24 years old and in his 5th year in the league. He has some of the sickest school yard moves and can get to the basket at will, but what has really impressed me lately are his passing skills and court vision. The kids buried behind Baron Davis and in should be a FA after this season. He's still not established and making 2.5M this year and could come on the cheap as he WANTS to play in NY, his home town. I think the kids ready to break out. I watched a special on him on MSG last week and he seems like a good kid with plenty of family support. You really can't compare him to his cousin as they are nothing alike. If you get a chance to watch the special check it out. I think it's called "Through the Fire".

I wish I could find some recent mixes of him playing with the Clippers, but here's an old one to whet your whistles.

Well I have caught a few Clipper games this season....the dude seems to have settled into his game. His shooting is still a little shaky but he has really settled into being an nba calibur point guard. He runs the Clippers offense well and knows when to call his own number. Dude is still fast as all hell pushing the ball and driving to the basket. He's another guy I'd consider trading for but Baron is an injury waiting to happen...Sab is gonna definately take advantage of that.

If your point is that Telfair is better than Duhon, then I agree. Otherwise, your a knucklehead. Telfair is not the answer.

My point is that this kid is a legitimate option for us next year. He's making a good argument that he is a legitimate starter in this league right now. I doubt he'll exercise his player option to play behind Davis another year and should be a FA in the summer. He has mad skills and he's learning how to harness them. I have no doubt that he can score and given starters minutes I think his shooting will improve. What I'm really impressed with is his ability to create and then hit the open man. His court vision/passing and ability to get to the rim makes him a valuable commodity at his salary. He pushes the ball and plays at a fast pace which would fit in nicely on an MDA team.

If you get a chance, watch some LAC games. He definitely stands out on a team with plenty of talent.

BTW - since you mentioned Duhon, when's the last/first time you've ever seen him kick the ball out to an open Gallinari for three after driving the basket? Check out this pass at :45 by Telfair and this was only one of several amazing passes he had that game.

That's what I say. The marburys all the way down to the mom and pop are very arrogant. The telflairs will tell you that. Not like marbs helped them much. they still were left out in those Coney island projects.
Now I don't know the whole story, but what I said is true. sabs half brother Jamel Thomas is the one that was supporting them with his overseas money. Totally different family. Telflairs charecter is different. I believe paying his nba dues has humbled his initial star stricken attitude.

Anyway, try to catch a clipper game. Telflair looks really good out there.

I never liked Sebustian Telfail but I will say he seems like an entirely changed player this year (and maybe it's been going on for a while). He seems... competent? It's almost confusing at best.

Then again, Crawful has been Crawsome in Atlanta so who knows.

You say that now. But when Telfair is averaging 3 assists a night on 7 turnovers in a Knicks jersey, while Marbury is freely walking around MSG looking for his paid seat so he can watch his sorry ass cousin play, you're going to puke in your mouth.

He has about 70 more games to complete his resume for the season. Last 5 games he has '0'turnovers and averaging around 3 assists and seven point in 15 minutes. If he can continue the good work, he's going to be starting somewhere next season.

Call me a knucklehead, but Sebastian Telfair is developing into a good PG
