rhyming game threads are bad luck, but at this point no one gives a ****
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I sense the makings of a real feel-good story here. A much maligned, formerly unmotivated overweight center, whom everyone has counted out, returns to action. Expectations are low. The fans are ready to boo because the franchise lost an important first round pick to get this tub of lard. After a few initial missteps, he hits his stride! He runs the court! He dunks! He passes out of the low post! He blocks shots! The crowd roars! The UK posters say "I always knew he had it in him." The Knicks win and he is carried off the court on the shoulders of his elated teammates.

I really feel that it will go like this. If this fails, then it's over.

This thread needs cheerleader pictures. I have a feeling that the lack of such pictures is responsible for our poor start of the season

Not a problem with the new, improved, slimmed down version.

I knew Reggie's jersey was hanging in the rafters, but I didn't realize his spirit was up there too. Spooky. It's like the Conseco Fieldhouse is haunted.

LOL.

I thought about that too after the fact. So I rationalize it like this: reggie's spirit hangs in the rafters through his jersey, which keeps his memory alive, so his spirit is there.

"hangs" has some bad assotiations to it...
Lets say his spirit in lurking from the rafters...

I think lots of Knicks fans wanted to 'hang' reggie back in the 90s. I remember a certain virulent rage I would feel towards the man; 'specially after the greg anthony 'push'.
